FAQs
Events are private
Please Log inDo I need an International Passport / Visa for my trip?
Yes! Passports must be valid for 6 months after travel - Be sure to check the expiration date of your passport.
You can fly to Mexico if you have a Mexican, UK, Canadian or US Visa. You do not need a visa if you are Canadian PR or Citizen.
Which airport do I fly to and how do I get to the resort?
All guests will arrive at the Cancun International Airport (CUN). Pick-up and drop-off transportation is automatically included for guests booking with GLOW travel. The ride is approximately 30-40 minutes to the resort.
Guests booking their own flights will be responsible for making arrangements for their transportation, from and to the airport.
Can I bring a date?
We want everyone to enjoy their vacation, so you are more than welcome to bring someone with you to Mexico. However, only named invitation guests are allowed at the wedding events. We hope you understand as we would like to keep this as intimate as possible with our closest friends and family.
What is the dress code for the wedding?
As we have different events planned for wedding in Mexico, we also have dress codes, which can be found under the 'Events' tab.
Can we stay somewhere other than The Fives Beach?
We would prefer all guests to stay at The Five Beach Hotels and Resort, as the resort charges $75USD per day for a wedding pass. We also have a few activities planned from August 6th - 11th that you would not want to miss out on!
Do I have to pay for anything once I arrive?
The resort is an all-Inclusive resort, meaning you won't need to worry about paying for your food or drinks during your stay in the resort.
We recommend bringing extra cash if you would like to participate in excursions, Spa treatments, shopping, etc.
Is there WIFI?
Yes! We recommend downloading WhatsApp, in order to text and stay connected while in the resort. We will be creating a group chat with all guests!
Do I need to tip while at the resort?
Tipping is not required but it's always nice to tip your cleaning staff, bartenders and wait staff as they work hard to make sure everyone has a pleasant experience.
We recommend bringing increments of $1& $5USD or the equivalent in Pesos for tips, but again, it is not required.
What is the dress code for the restaurants?
There are 15 bars & restaurants, with options for even the pickiest eaters (remember, all food and drinks are included!)
For the specific restaurants, the resort recommends "casual/resort elegance" meaning look put together but they understand you are on vacation. Beachwear is not permitted at any of the restaurants.
