Woohoo! Pack your bags, we're going to Mexico (IN APRIL 2021 NOW INSTEAD OF SEPTEMBER 2020)! Though we were sad we needed to postpone our wedding until next year, we felt this was the best decision for everyone. We're very excited to have you join us for our new wedding celebration week in April 2021. To make things simple, we've hired a travel consultant to help our guests arrange accommodations. We've chosen to stay at the Now Amber Puerto Vallarta All Inclusive Resort, where all the fun will be happening!
Many details are below, but here are a few IMPORTANT things to note:
- The new RSVP Date is November 1st, 2020! To guarantee availability and discounted pricing, please put down your retainer with our travel consultant as soon as possible! We do have a wedding group room block held with the resort with a limited number of discounted rooms, but rooms are first come first serve. As soon as you know you are definitely joining for the week of fun, RSVP by submitting your deposit right away to ensure you get a room within our wedding group and no later than November 1st, 2020.
- You don't have to pay for your travel plans all at once! Typically there is only a small per person deposit of $250.00 to lock in your resort stay details to RSVP and the rest of your trip cost isn't due until a few months before the wedding on January 8th, 2021 - interest free!
- Our resort only allows guests staying at the resort to attend wedding events, so you want to make sure to book within the group for your accommodations.
- There is a fantastic travel protection insurance plan you can cover your trip with (both your resort stay and your flights). This offers coverage for cancellation even if you need to cancel right up until a couple days before you travel where you would get a full refund back right to your credit card (less the cost of the travel protection). Great for peace of mind in case of any emergencies!
- If you have any questions for us, please reach out to us! Most questions about your travel plans can be directed to our travel consultant who's contact information is below. Don't forget to get your passport if you don't already have one! There have been lots of passport delays recently, so make sure to apply ASAP!

We will be saying "I Do" at a beautiful beach ceremony at the resort on Saturday April 24th, 2021.
We kindly ask that you arrive at the resort no later than Thursday April 22nd, 2021 to take full advantage of the weekend's festivities.
Ian and Didi will be arriving Wednesday April 21st and departing Tuesday April 27th, and would love for any and all to join them for their entire trip!
We are currently all setup with our travel agency Just Perfect Vows who you can contact directly to book as part of our wedding group. Below under "Accommodations" you will find per person pricing and more details to book your stay. If you have further questions, just send a quick email (or call) to Stephanie with the dates you'd like to go along with who will be traveling with you and she will be able to assist in customizing your own travel plans further.
While Just Perfect Vows does offer competitive prices with lower wedding group discounts, they also offer personalized service. Anytime you have a question or concern, you will be able to contact them directly and will not have to go through a call center and speak with a different person each time. They have a 24-hour emergency line available for our guests if there should be any flight delays or problems at the resort while traveling. Again, you will reach one of their in-house travel consultants, who will do what they can to resolve any hiccups.
Most importantly, their strong relationship with the resort helps to ensure that guests of our wedding party that are booked through us will not be walked and placed in another resort due to overbooking (as this happens many times when booking just online). In addition to all of their great benefits, if you were to find a better “deal” outside of Just Perfect Vows, please allow them the opportunity to price match as many times they are able to honor prices found elsewhere. We would like to do our best to keep our family and friends consolidated at the resort for accountability with the travel agency to avoid any extra costs needing to be paid by our guests.

We do ask that you RSVP and place your deposit for your trip as soon as possible, but BEFORE November 1st, 2020 at the very latest. We recommend booking your flights as early as you can, but waiting until after you have received your confirmations from Just Perfect Vows. You may book via your favorite airline or even consider using miles or credit card points if you have them. If you would like assistance with your flights, Just Perfect Vows is happy to help! All of the travel packages include pricing as listed above for the optional travel protection coverage for your resort stay package. This coverage offers a variety of benefits including being able to cancel your trip for any reason at all right up until 48 hours prior to your trip departure (as without this coverage all deposits and payments are completely non-refundable). It also offers coverage while you are traveling in case of any emergencies that may pop up. Though this protection is completely optional, it is highly suggest having it for all international travel plans as cancellations and emergencies can and do happen especially in the tricky times we are in right now.
Even better benefit - if flights are added to your resort stay package your travel protection will also cover all airfare costs including non-refundable flights! (Per person cost of travel protection may increase slightly if flights are added)
