Destination Wedding Travel and Booking
Cancun here we come! We have waited a long time for this and in the spirit of doing things our own way we have decided to have a destination wedding. Again we don't want anyone to feel obligated to go as we will have a celebration back home with all of our loved ones.
But for you who want to be there with your toes in the sand here is the travel information!
First thing we want to make clear is this well not be a trip full of itinerary! This is your vacation! Travel the days that work best for you, stay 3 nights or 10, plan an excursion! Other than the day of the wedding and reception, do what you want!
The wedding will be Friday, August 6th at 5 pm (ish). We will be traveling from Tuesday August 3rd through Monday August 9th as we have to arrive a few days before to finalize details. The resort is NOW Jade Riviera Cancun! This is an all inclusive resort so all food and drinks will be included in your package. If you haven't done an all inclusive resort yet, you will be hooked. There is nothing like ordering whatever youd like without a bill at the end! NOW Jade is a huge resort with 5+ restuarants, lots of pools, and tons of amenities. You will not have to leave this resort unless you would like to plan an excursion.
Travel Plans can be booked through our travel agent Doris Carroll at Classic Travel. We have used them for other trips and they are all about customizing your vacay to fit your needs and budget. A deposit is needed to reserve and then payments can be made through them with the last payment due in June. Although they price the trips individually, there will be a discount for everyone based on the number of rooms in our booking and that will be applied to final payment. They are so great at giving you multiple options like, what would it look like for 3 nights vs 5 nights, where you want to fly out of, what dates and type of room. They will plan everything for you!
