Desmond & Angela

Circa 2013... Desmond and I met through a mutual friend in Elizabeth City, NC. We first saw each other at " The Mount" after service. A few days later, Desmond sent me a DM on instagram and we've hadn't missed a day without talking to each other since.
In 2013, I left Elizabeth City and moved to Stafford, Virginia with my family. Desmond soon followed. That is when I knew he was "The One". When he moved to Maryland in 2014, we were officially a couple and we started our lives together.
On our own, we figured out Maryland and DC within the blink of an eye. We traveled, ate at the best restaurants and began planning our future as one.
In 2017, we found out that we were expecting our first baby, Dylan Dash. This was one of the happiest moments in our both our lives. We welcomed Dylan into the world on August 9, 2018 and we were officially parents.
In December 2020 we welcomed our second child, first baby girl Aubree Nielle into the world. A true blessing born on Christmas Day. We officially became the Williams party of 4 !
On April 3rd, we dedicated Aubree back to our Lord and Saviour. What I thought was just a dedication turned into a surprise proposal. Desmond sealed the deal and asked me to be his wife alongside our closest friends and family.
We are elated that the time is finally here where we get to say "I do" in front of our loved ones, our children and God. A true love story that withstood trials. In the end..... Love conquers all. #Awilliamstimesyes

Ashley and I have been best friends since high school. A trusted friend, sister and true partner in crime. She celebrates my wins and stands beside me when challenges arise. God knew exactly what I needed when he sent Ashely into my life. I am so honored to have her as my Matron of Honor and life-long best friend.

Jasmin and I have been friends since college. After pledging, we became long time roommates. Jasmin has been the best sister a girl could ever ask for. She has always supported me in every endeavor. Jasmin actually had a lot to do with Desmond and I meeting. I would have never met Desmond if it wasn't for her. We can just call her the match maker:)

Tori and I have been friends since middle school. There is no amount of time or distance that can derail our unbreakable bond. I knew from the beginning that she would be standing next to me on my special day because she (and Whitney) really were the only people that could spend the night at my house. My mom kept a tight rope on all of us lol. She is one of the most authentic people in my circle and always just a phone call away.

Chris and I have been friends since elementary school. Inseparable is the word that I would use to describe our bond. We went to high school every day with one another. I have always looked at Chris as my younger brother. Our relationship is way deeper than words. It is a honor to have him by side.

Vick and I have been friends since daycare. We graduated from Pre-k together. Vick was my first friend. Vick's father baptized me early on in life. When his family moved to Virginia, it never stopped us from communicating with each other. We then linked back up as suitemates in college. My dawg, my brother. I know this day wouldn't be complete without him by my side.

Steven is my stand up guy. Whenever something needs to be executed with grace and efficiency he is the person to carry out the task. Steven is the guy who will make you laugh and cry at the same time. It is a honor to have his as my groom's attendant. I truly don't know what I would do without him.
