How to Get Around
Indian Wedding Ceremony:
Saturday, October 7th morning | Address: 12414 Henderson Road, Clifton VA 20124.
Bus transport will be provided from Westin Washington Dulles, departing at 7:15am and 7:30am. The buses will return to the Westin after the ceremony, departing at approximately 11am.
In case you are not able to get on the bus, Uber fare is approximately $30. You may drive your own vehicles to and from this event - limited parking will be available.
Reception and Farewell Dinner:
Sunday, October 8th evening | Address: 1617 Washington Plaza N. Reston VA 20190.
Bus transport will be provided from Westin Washington Dulles, departing at 5:30pm, 6pm and 6:30pm. The bus will make multiple return trips to the Westin later in the evening, departing at approximately 8:30pm, 9pm and 10pm.
In case you are not able to get on the bus, Uber fare is approximately $15. You may drive your own vehicles to and from this event - parking will be available.
Dulles Airport Shuttle: If you're staying at the Westin, they offer an airport shuttle service. It runs 24/7, every 30 minutes, but you can also call the front desk to give them a heads up about your need for a shuttle and the number in your party.
DC Metro: nearest stops to the Westin Dulles are Innovation Center or Wiehle Metro (on the Silver Line)
Time to Smithsonian from Innovation Center= about 1 hour
Time to King Street- Old Town Alexandria from Innovation Center (take the Silver to Rosslyn & transfer to the Blue Line): about 1.5 hours
Be sure to install a DC Metro App on your phone before taking your first trip!
The Westin offers a scheduled shuttle to and from the Metro. Check the front desk for more information. Lyfts and Ubers are also readily available for taking you to a Metro stop or other destination.
