We first met in Las Vegas at a pool and re-connected more than a year later when Doan had a layover in LA. We kept in contact over the year as Doan had unknowingly signed up for daily animal facts from Dave. Did you know the blue whale has a tail fin the size of a Cessna?

After Doan decided to move to San Diego, we decided to start dating and meeting each other's friends.
Doan met the LA fam at Trae and Kim's wedding in Solvang. At least 3 different times, Doan was asked by the crew if she could keep up with Dave's dancing.
Dave met the PDX crew by making a surprise trip to Portland for a cat's birthday/St. Patty's Day party.
After driving up and down between LA and SD, we decided the 405/5 Freeway was starting to feel longer and Doan moved to LA.
Doan's first birthday celebration in LA brought a new member to our family - her name is Lloyd and Doan loves her more than (almost) anything.
We've spent the last five years learning from each other, laughing together, supporting one another and exploring. We can't wait for what the future holds. Thank you for being a part of our story.
