On our very first date we went to a Nutcracker Musical. We were nervous at first, but we got comfortable enough to stop by for coffee and continue to enjoy the night.

Inspired by the Great Gatsby theme the “You are Loved” gala was a event where the youth at our church served and showed appreciation for the young ladies, and we were excited to be part of this event together.

After running our very first marathon together we decided to celebrate with a White Sox game! Even though we were still sore, nothing stopped us from having fun!

This picture was taken our last day of our mission’s trip in South Dakota. We got pretty messy after coloring and painting with the kids.

Imagine running your first marathon. Hard enough, right? But now imagine that it rained the whole time! We were soaked and very soar but all smiles to have done this together. And now we are so excited to run together forever!

We love Chicago! But really we will go anywhere for a delicious donut!

We love outdoor adventures, hammocks, camping, reading and we decided to take a selfie right after a wonderful day.

Dave and Yeshua share a common passion which is good food and sharing with people.

We ended our summer running one more time together, but we know it just gets better.

Unforgettable experience, all the training and long runs paid off! David finished strong with his good friend Kyle.

The first time David and Yeshua met was this very place! Now it was time to ask whether she wanted to continue to walk a lifetime together, starting here!

Beautifully decorated David was more than ready to ask the big question!

The air felt so thin but peaceful and as our sweaty palms touched we prayed for our new season in life that only the Lord could walk us through.

After seeing the slideshow David had prepared with all their memories, Yeshua was so excited to continue her journey with the love of her life.

After prayer, David and Yeshua needed seconds to breathe in all that was happening. Nevertheless, excitement and wonder filled their hearts!

After a long day of planning and running around they felt blessed to end the night with friends.

David’s parents excited for our engagement!

Gabe and Lucas wanted to take a picture with us! We felt so honored!

With our lovely friend Rosie!

Chelsea and Isaac were David’s good helpers trying to distract Yeshua from knowing about the engagement plans. They did an awesome job! We loved celebrating with them afterwards!
