So our story begins in 2009 (Dasha 15 years old and Justin 17 years old), when we met through a mutual friend and went fishing together (how caribbean, i know). Since our first kiss we became immediately inseparable!
We graduated VWO (highschool) together and off we went on our next big adventure, studying abroad! We were excited but also terrified, not knowing what lies ahead.
A year later and we moved in together in our first appartement! We were still very young (19 and 21) but ready to be together all the time.
Then in the same year we hopped on the bus to get our puppy, the beautiful Pepper. We were immediately obsessed and we are so grateful that Pepper is still enriching our lives today, almost 9 years later!
In the years that followed a lot happened. We graduated a few times (and started adult jobs!), moved to another city, had a few hard times along the way but also made sure we saw the world! We traveled to Malta, Italy, USA, Thailand and Bali to name a few.
And then about 11 years after we first met, Justin got on one knee at the spot where we first met back on the island and asked Dasha to marry him! We were both sick, but Justin insisted we go see the sunset at the shore that day. It was amazing to be able to go tell our family straight afterwards! We are now ready to continue our lives together having the biggest fun, being the bestest friends and each others greatest supporter :)
