The easiest way to get to Cuernavaca is to take a bus from Mexico to Cuernavaca. There are different ways of doing this:
1. If you are leaving directly from the airport to Cuernavaca you can take the bus from Terminal 1. Schedules vary but you can go to any information booth and they'll direct you to the bus terminal where you can ask when the next bus is leaving and buy your ticket which should be around $8 USD. The bus ride takes about 2 to 3 hours depending time of day and traffic.
2. If you arrive to Mexico City days before the wedding, then you can take an uber to "Terminal de Autobuses Taxqueña" where there are buses leaving to Cuernavaca frequently.
Once you arrive in Cuernavaca you can take an Uber to your hotel/airbnb
