"Our Lady of Bonaria" is the patroness of Sardinia and sailors. The sanctuary in Cagliari is dedicated to her and is one of the most important places of worship on the island. Legend has it that the wooden statue of the Madonna venerated in the sanctuary of Cagliari arrived in the city by sea.
The Sanctuary of Bonaria is the oldest part of the Basilica complex and was the first example of Catalan-Gothic architecture in Sardinia, built in 1324.
We feel very privileged to have chosen this special church for our wedding.
"Nostra Signora di Bonaria", e' la protettrice della Sardegna e dei marinai. A lei è dedicato il santuario di Cagliari che è uno dei più importanti luoghi di culto nell’isola. Si racconta che la statua lignea della Madonna venerata nel santuario di Cagliari, abbia raggiunto la citta' via mare.
Il Santuario di Bonaria e' la parte piu' antica del complesso della Basilica, e fu il primo esempio di architettura gotico-catalana in Sardegna, costruito nel 1324.
Ci sentiamo privilegiati di aver scelto questa chiesa per il nostro matrimonio.
The Sanctuary of Bonaria is located on top of Bonaria hill. Parking is widely available in the close proximity of the Sanctuary, if you are arriving to the Ceremony by car.
Il Santuario di Bonaria si trova in cima al colle di Bonaria. Il parcheggio e' ampiamente disponibile nelle vicinanze del Santuario, nel caso in cui arrivaste alla Cerimonia in macchina.

Villa Aste is an historical venue, located in the borgo of San Gregorio, at few kilometers from Cagliari. The "Villa", surrounded by a beautiful garden, was built at the end of 1800. We hope you will fall in love with the atmosphere in Villa Aste as much as we did when we chose it to celebrate our wedding with you all.
Villa Aste e' una storica dimora che si trova all'ingresso dell'antico borgo di San Gregorio a pochi chilometri da Cagliari. La Villa, immersa in un meraviglioso giardino, venne costruita alla fine del 1800. Speriamo che vi innamoriate di Villa Aste come e' successo a noi due quando l'abbiamo scelta per festeggiare il nostro matrimonio insieme a voi.
We will have transportation coaches to take our guests from the church to the reception. They will leave from the church at the end of the ceremony and bring you to Villa Aste. To go back home from the reception, there will be a mini-vans service which will leave from the Villa at different times, starting from approximately 11.30pm until 3.30am. The mini-vans will bring you back safely to the Church, from there it will be easy to take a taxi home. Please enjoy the party as long as you wish! We hope you will stay with us until the end! Please let us know when you RSVP, if you would like to use our transportation or if you prefer to reach the venue with your own car or by taxi.
Abbiamo organizzato dei pulmanns per portare i nostri ospiti dalla chiesa al ricevimento. Partiranno dalla chiesa alla fine della cerimonia e vi porteranno a Villa Aste. Per tornare a casa, sara' presente un servizio di minivan che partiranno dalla Villa in diversi orari, dalle 23.30 circa fino alle 3.30 del mattino. I minivans vi riporteranno alla Chiesa, da cui sara' semplice chiamare un texi per tornare a casa. Speriamo che restiate con noi il piu' possibile e per tutta la festa! Quando fate l' RSVP, fateci sapere se volete usufruire del nostro trasporto, o se preferite raggiungere Villa Aste con la vostra macchina o con il taxi.
