There are several other Philly points of interest close to the hotel, including City Hall, LOVE Park (with Robert Indiana's iconic LOVE sculpture) and Reading Terminal Market (a 127 year old former railroad terminal-turned amazing food market.)
Another great spot for food & drinks within walking distance of the hotel is McGillan's Old Ale House, the oldest continually operating pub in the city. (The taps have been flowing here since 1860!)
The Ben Franklin Parkway and Museum District is a short (10-15min) walk from the hotel.
The showcase attraction here is the Philadelphia Art Museum with it's famous Rocky steps!
Other museums in the area include the Barnes Foundation, the Rodin Museum, the Academy of Natural Sciences, and the Franklin Institute (where the wedding is being held!)
Behind the art museum, you can find the 19th century riverfront Boat House Row, where the groom rowed for the University of Pennsylvania.
