CBX
If you are planning to depart from San Diego/Tijuana, we recommend using the Cross Border Xpress (CBX). It is a bridge that connects from San Diego directly to the Tijuana airport. You need to purchase tickets in order to cross; this can be done in advance through their website. It is the easiest way to fly from Tijuana and avoid crossing the border.
www.crossborderxpress.com/en/
An FFM immigration form is also necessary when crossing through the CBX. It can be filled out in person once you are crossing or can be filled out in advance: www.inm.gob.mx/fmme/publico/en/solicitud.html
Make sure to print!
Passport
Don't forget your passport! Make sure that your passport does not expire within 6 months of your departure date.
Immigration & Customs
You will be required to fill out an immigration and customs form while on the plane to show to officials when you land in Mexico.
The immigration officer will give you back the bottom portion. You MUST keep this "departure card" for when you exit Mexico. Your airline will not allow you on your flight home without this departure card so make sure you keep it nice and safe.
Currency
Although most restaurants accept credit cards, please be sure to always carry some Mexican Pesos for ease of purchase of your Mexican snacks, souvenirs, and taxis.

XOCHIMILCO: thewholeworldornothing.com/xochimilco-mexico-city/
Xochimilco is best known for its canals, which are left from what was an extensive lake and canal system that connected most of the settlements of the Valley of Mexico. These canals, along with artificial islands called chinampas, attract tourists and other city residents to ride on colorful gondola-like boats called “trajineras” around the 170 km (110 mi) of canals.
TEOTIHUACAN: Teotihuacan is an ancient Mesoamerican city located in a sub-valley of the Valley of Mexico, which is located in the State of Mexico, 40 kilometers (25 mi) northeast of modern-day Mexico City. Teotihuacan is known today as the site of many of the most architecturally significant Mesoamerican pyramids built in the pre-Columbian Americas. At its zenith, perhaps in the first half of the first millennium (1 AD to 500 AD), Teotihuacan was the largest city in the pre-Columbian Americas, with a population estimated at 125,000 or more, making it at least the sixth-largest city in the world during its epoch.
