So, it all started back in 2014 in Miami.
Daisy was living there and Seb was visiting from Toronto. We met through some mutual friends at a dinner, and let's just say, we really hit it off.
Our first date was on the beach a couple days later and at the end, Daisy dropped Seb off at the airport. Little did we know this would be a recurring theme for the next several years.
We were long-distance for SEVEN years, people! That's a lot of FaceTime calls and plane tickets. We mastered the art of syncing our movies before any streaming Watch Party ever came out. Hey, when you're in love, you'll do just about anything to make it work.
We were always making the best of our time spent together and traveling as much as we could, meeting up in different cities and trying new experiences. It was like a never-ending honeymoon!
And then, the pandemic hit. It was like the universe was saying, "Oh, you thought you had it hard before? Hold my beer."
We couldn't see each other as much as we wanted to, but we made it through. Then in 2021, Daisy decided to take the plunge and move to Toronto from California.
I mean, who doesn't love sub-zero temperatures and snow in April, right? To love that knows no bounds.
On July 10, 2022, in the midst of a whirlwind summer through Europe, Seb proposed. It was in Santorini, during a beautiful sunset and lobster pasta waiting to be devoured. How could Daisy say no?!
So now, we're ready to tie the knot!
With our friends and family from all over the world, Portugal is the perfect meeting ground. Between the stunning beaches, historic sightseeing, authentic Port wine, delicious seafood and pastel de natas, Lisbon has always delivered.
