The Hyatt property consists of 750 rooms divided into a family-friendly (Ziva) and adults-only (Zilara) side. Children age 17 and younger must remain on the Ziva side at all times. However, adults 18 and over may cross between both sides of the property as they please. Both sides are connected through a "U" shape and takes minimal time to cross between the two sides.

Anyone age 18 and older can use any and all amenities on either side of the resort at any time, regardless of which side you book. To explain, adults who stay on the Ziva (family) side can go to the restaurants, bars, and pools on the Zilara (adult) side at any time. The same privileges are extended to adults staying on the Zilara (adult) side. Therefore, unless you are traveling with children, it doesn't really matter which side you stay on.

Please note that all rooms in our room-block are upgraded "club" rooms with beautiful oceanview, oceanfront, or swim-up views and exclusive club access to premium liquors, private restaurants, pools, and amenities for you to enjoy. It is requested that you stay in a club-level room so that you may attend all group events and enjoy the same superior level of service + amenities.

Taking after a Caribbean market with various stations, this gourmet buffet is plentiful and bright from the décor to the flavors. There are buffets on both sides (Ziva + Zilara) of the resort!

The room block is secured from Sunday, April 7th- Sunday, April 14th. The resort requires a minimum of a 3 night stay, however, you are welcome to stay all 7 nights! Please speak with the travel agent for options if you'd like to extend your stay outside of these dates.
Feel free to arrive/depart any time within those dates. If you are interested in partaking in all the wedding week events, it's recommended that you arrive no later than Tuesday, April 9th and wait until Sunday, April 14th to depart. The welcome cocktail hour is Tuesday evening and the farewell catamaran to Saona Island is on Saturday.

Airfare is not included in the price of the resort. Please book your airfare on your own. Airfare is usually not available for purchase until 300 days prior to the travel date, but is often priced high that far out. The best rates are often found 3-6 months from the travel date. It is recommended that you track ticket prices (you can set alerts for price drops on websites such as Hopper.) The Hopper app watches flights for you on certain days with almost all airlines and notifies you when it’s the best time to buy tickets.

Please fly into the Punta Cana airport (PUJ). 

Delta and Sun Country airlines have direct flights from MSP.

Roundtrip airport to resort transportation is available with Renny Travel. Once you have booked your flights please use the following link to book your transportation directly with Renny Travel.

Roundtrip airport to resort transportation is $30 +tax per person and is nonstop and 'Private Group" transportation. It is a quick 10-15 minute drive to the resort.

Guests arriving at the same time could share a transfer with other guests of the wedding. The average wait time is 20 minutes.

All booked and paid guests will receive arrival details approximately 1 week prior to travel. When exiting the PUJ airport, politely ignore other transportation companies who may be soliciting your business. Proceed to the Renny Travel signs.

If you forget to book your transportation prior to traveling, there are several taxis / transit companies (including Renny Travel) who will be waiting outside of the airport. Just be sure to ride with a company in uniform, and don't pay much more than $30/per person for round trip service. 

Pay attention to the pickup time they give you for your trip back to the airport on your departure day. It's likely that your transportation will want to pick you up 3-4 hours prior to your flight departure. 

You need one!
If you do not have a passport, or need to renew your passport, please do this ASAP as processing time to receive your passport currently is 10-13 weeks. You also have the option of paying an additional $60 for expedited service to receive your passport in 4-6 weeks.

If you have a passport already, please check your expiration date now. Your passport cannot expire within 6 months of your travel date. That means you must renew if your passport expires prior to October 11th, 2024 (6 months prior to the wedding).

The Dominican Republic eTicket is a digital form required to enter or leave the country. Anybody over 18 needs to fill out and submit these digital forms in the e-ticket portal. The form must be filled in truthfully before you head for the Dominican Republic. You'll want to fill out the form electronically a day or two prior to departing the U.S. It is not ideal to wait or it could cause delay for you going through customs entering the Dominican Republic.

There are no longer requirements for Covid-19 testing when traveling to and from the Dominican Republic to the United States.

When you book your room with the travel agent, they will offer you round-trip transportation services. I encourage you to book through this through the agent, but if you forget, there are a variety of taxis and transportation services parked outside of the airport exit.

Yes, the resort does offer a few additional rooms that are outside of our room block such as non-club level, non-oceanview obstructed-view rooms (and the Presidential Suite!) We carefully selected all of the rooms in the room block to include club-level amenities. Club-level comes with an abundance of perks such as ocean views, premium liquors and beer, in-room bottle service, private check-in, complimentary late check-out, use of additional exclusive pools and restaurants, and (in some of the more premium rooms) butler service. We want all of our guests to receive the same level of wonderful service and benefits. We would hate to see anyone left out or excluded from certain restaurants, bars, and pools. In addition, we plan to host a couple of pre-wedding events (such as the welcome cocktail party + Bruch with the Bride) in club-level areas so our hope is that you can join in. 

Yes. Although we don't anticipate many children to be in attendance, children are more than welcome to come. However, families with children must book on the ziva (family) side of the resort. Children under age 18 are not allowed on the zilara (adult) side at any time. Children under age 13 may stay at a discounted rate. Please see the booking tab for more information. Please note: Some wedding-week events will be adults-only due to their location. The resort provides a free kids care center during the day/early evening hours. Hyatt offers private babysitting services (for an hourly fee) as well. 

Some room categories can accommodate up to 5 guests, however, typical rooms are designed for 1 or 2 guests. The maximum number of adults in a room (double bed rooms) is four. A 5th person may only be added as a child under age 13. Please note that these rooms with double beds have only 1 bathroom.

Only double-bed rooms ("club ocean view double") can accommodate four adults. Although rooms such as the Master Suite and Grand Master Suite are much larger, they contain king size beds and have a maximum of 2 adults. Please see the booking tab for more information.

All of our preselected rooms in the room block contain amazing views of the ocean due to the fact that they are club-level. Ocean view rooms are located on higher level floors with unobstructed views so that you get a great view of the water. Ocean view rooms are typically a combination of views of the ocean and pools. 

Ocean front rooms are just steps away from the sand. They run parallel to the ocean for a truly breathtaking experience.
