Best Friend of the Bride
“There isn’t one story in particular that is my favorite or most special memory of my Cozy. Every moment we’ve been through together whether good or challenging has bought us closer. We’ve experienced great victories and incredible losses together. She joins me in the best belly laughs and in my soul cries. I bless the day I met you even though I don’t remember the exact day. 1997 was a great year for new friends and I was gifted with you.”
Sister of the Bride
"There are so many memories we have together but the one’s that I cherish the most are all the summers and weekends that we spent together . We were never taught that there were half siblings we were only taught that we were sisters and that’s all that mattered to us we grew up not only being sisters but it felt like we were twins. We did just about everything together summer camps (Camp Farthest Out)vacations (Disney World) and even taking turns staying over each other’s houses shoot we had two Mother‘s and one Dad. Your mom treated me like I was her daughter and my mom treated you like you was her daughter. What better life could two girls ask for and til this day we are still two peas in a pod. I love you sis."
Best Friend of the Bride
“Co and I met in 6th grade when she was strictly Cozie. We became friends so fast, almost like it was natural. During the 2 years I spent in Woodlawn, she became my best friend. We have the funniest memories but my favorite was us WALKING from Brompton rd to Security Square Mall to see Friday in the 7th grade. A true testament of our friendship was me moving across town and us still maintaining our friendship. She never left me out and when we’d see each other it would feel like we never left Brompton Rd. At this point we are beyond friends, we are family. My Son, My B, My Cozie, My Co and soon to be Mrs Edmond..Ill love you forever”
Cousin of the Bride
"My entire life consists of memories with Cozy. As an only child, I was blessed to grow up with my cousin-sister. During the school year, she was at my house daily to play school, church (shoutin’ and all), and dolls after my extra ‘mother assigned school work’ was complete of course! Despite Cozy trying to keep me in my place as the younger one, I knew our love and sister/cousinhood was unlike most. For years, Aunt Leci would buy us the same outfit for Christmas, good ‘ole days! Our bond through our upbringing and now as we raise our kids is beyond priceless. I’m grateful for the memories we share and all the memories we will continue to make in the future."

How WE MET! Skating was something we all did! We knew of each other from skating and guy named Kareem who her best friend was dating and it didn't start well. Months later I got transferred to Milford and low and behold I was ready for whatever action that was going to occur. A chic was sitting in front of me in class and she turned around and said "whats your name". I said Brandy the girl you don't like. lol. She dug how blunt I was and we've been fighting and loving each other ever since 1997! There is no divorcing me! LOL"
Close Friend of the Bride
"My favorite memory with Co to the zette is when we met in the Summer of 2001. It’s my favorite memory because our friendship is still the same, minus the fake ids. Our lifestyles were different but we were stuck together like glue. We bonded immediately over our love for Jay Z and our dreams. We have so many memories filled with nothing but laughter, rap songs and plane tickets. We taught each other valuable lessons that will last for a lifetime. Co is one of my protectors and my son’s first crush. I’m so lucky to call you my friend and Soror. Co you popping!"
Close Friend of Bride
“We both were apart of a mutual friend’s bridal party, and didn’t even expect to become so close. Realizing we had so much in common we just instantly clicked. Friends at first sight is what it’s called. Birthdays two days apart, and who can say they celebrated their 30th birthday with you in the middle of the ocean, ME. Lifetime of memories, and your greatest blessing calls me Aunt Shawnte’. We’ve laughed together, but what we do best is dance together lol...meet you on the dance floor Co!”
