We are already giddy knowing that our closest friends and family will actually all be be at the same slice of paradise, all at the same time. Anyone else?! For this reason, we'll be kicking off the celebratory weekend with a casual welcome event! This will be held on the Wednesday evening of June 20th for any wedding guests that arrive early.
Our ceremony will be held on the beautiful Arbodela Beach on the Friday afternoon of July 22nd. It will be followed with dinner, drinks and dancing at The Lapa Lapa Beach Club.
Adults only event; 21 and over.
Childcare services are available through the resort 24 hours a day. Please contact the concierge for details. Additional costs apply.
Beach Semi-Formal Attire
Gents, this is your official permission to dress comfortably. It will be very hot. So while a jacket isn’t required, a breathable sport coat or unique blazer is a fun addition. Feel free to include prints, avoiding anything too loud. Shoes can also be more casual.
For those asking, the official definition of "beach semi-formal" attire is, here it is: It means you need to look great, but within limits imposed by sun and sand :)
Beach Semi-Formal/Cocktail Attire
Ok ladies, I have a vision in mind for the wedding day that includes each of you!
Pick any style that you'd like! The nice thing about the "beach semi-formal/cocktail attire" genre is that it encompasses countless style options: A sundress or maxi dress, a causal suit, formal romper, or jumpsuit all work!
My visionary request is that the color of your outfit falls within a specific color scheme. The color pallet includes:
- Pinks (Blush, Rose, Coral, Terracotta)
- Oranges (Melon, Rust, Peach, Salmon)
- Yellows (Amber, Lemon Meringue, Mustard, Daffodil)
- Beiges (Sand, Khaki, Camel, Taupe)
Feel free to include delicate prints, avoiding anything too loud. For shoes - wear whatever your feet desire! Or none at all :)
