Let's rewind back to the year 2014. It's the year that Piper graduated from college, the year that Mike earned his first corporate promotion and most importantly, the year they met. For those that don't know, Mike and Piper met at a workplace (that shall not be named) that forbids employees to date one another. No problem, right? Fortunately, this rule allowed them to build a strong foundation through a great friendship. Unfortunately, they had to find new jobs after that rule was eventually broken :)
In 5 years, they moved in and out of 3 different apartments and lived in 2 different cities. What initially bonded them was spending weekends together creating their own adventures and exploring Florida's outdoors. Now, their weekends are spent adventuring around thrift shops and local hardware stores collecting materials for home renovations projects. It became a mutual realization that transforming ordinary places into spaces they can call 'home' was certainly their most favorite hobby to do together. These homes would, of course, not be complete without their perfect pup, Sperry.
After 5 years of building their lives as a couple and growing as individuals, Mike planned a picnic at the end of Davis Islands to ask Piper if she'd like to do this together forever. Needless to say, it was the sweetest "YES" <3

As much as we love being engaged, the timing is finally right for us to tie the knot, for Piper to finally change her first AND last name and for Mike to finally get his passport LOL. We are over-the-moon with excitement to celebrate our big day alongside all of you in the beautiful Costa Rica!
