Angel Gibson
Matron of Honor
Andreaietta and I met in 2008 at Hinds Community College where she greeted EVERYBODY with “hey friennnnd!” We stayed in the same dorm. We went out one night with some mutual friends and have been “favs” since then.

Throughout our friendship we’ve cried, we’ve laughed, we’ve prayed, we’ve put on karaoke shows in the car, we’ve gotten each other together, we’ve traveled, we’ve encouraged each other, we’ve held each other accountable; but most of all...we have grown with each other over the years. I’m beyond grateful that we crossed paths. I can’t wait to add your wedding day to our list of memorable moments.

To my gorgeous, smart, meticulous, wonderful, and annoying little sister who I’ve known all of our lives,,, Words cannot describe the love I have for you,,, You’re like the daughter I’ve never had... Xoxo
Candice Dunn
Maid of Honor
Andreaietta and Candice met freshman year at GWHS. Candice was quiet and Andreaietta was very talkative which annoyed Candice!! Eventually they realized that their very different personalities actually meshed perfectly together. They’ve been Thelma+Louise ever since!!
Aglesia Hawkins
Maid of Honor
Andreaietta and I met our Freshman Year; October 2002. I was trying out for the dance line and she was already on the flag line in the band. Her older sister Andrea was my old head; I kinda met Dretta through her. Andreaietta has always been bubbly, HONEST, and fun! At one point we kind of grew apart but God knew we needed each other because she’s one of the best people he has ever brought into my life.

Bridesmaid
I met Dretta through another bridesmaid Shana at The University of Southern Mississippi.
A year or so later we would all become roommates and the rest is history.

Now 7 years later I can always count on Dretta to be one of the ONLY friends that’s going to FT me multiple times a week just to check in and have girls chat.

I always say if it wasn’t for Dretta, I wouldn’t need a phone plan on my phone.

I can always count on her to see the light in any dark situation and give her go to advice “Falalalala” which basically means moving right along or not to let yourself dwell on negativity too long.

Dretta is the friend that sees the positive in every situation.

I met Andreaietta on the campus of Hinds CC, Raymond Campus fall 2007. It wasn’t until 2009 when we actually spoke beyond a “hi”or “bye”, moving into Hillcrest Hall at the University of Southern Mississippi. We’d run into each other sporadically, then very often, and the rest is history. Dretta and I became hall mates, roommates and even classmates. Needless to say we were both late to class- everyday. Establishing a friendship is one of the best things I got from USM, besides a very expensive degree.

Andreaietta and I met many years ago when we attended Matty Akin Elementary School. We were pretty cordial at the time and even cheered a year together. We later attended Solomon Middle School then Greenville-Weston High School, where we graduated together. As time passed, we began to develop a friendship. Who would have thought that we would even attend the same college at The University of Southern Mississippi??!!Andreaietta is truly beautiful inside & out! You can’t help but to love her! During our undergrad years we obtained a bond like never before and we’ve continued to have that relationship every since!

Dretta and I met our freshman year at Greenville-Weston High. She had the most cheerful and bubbly spirit our first time meeting. She literally broke me out of my shell by convincing me to tryout for the majorette team. I had never shook a toe before that lol. When I needed to literally "runaway from it all" she'd always invite me over to chill or spend a weekend or two or three....no lie!!! Those memories will forever remain timeless!

I met Dretta in 2007 at Hinds Community College. She was so full of sunshine and all smiles when I first met her. We met through our lovely mutual friend Angel. She makes you believe that there really is good in the world. She’s someone who changes your life just by being apart of it. Someone who makes you laugh until you can’t stop. Someone who convinces you that there really is an unlocked door just waiting for you to open it. My always down to travel and have fun partner. Dretta is my forever friend, and forever has no end.

Andreaietta and I met back in the 1990s on the southend of town, playing in mud puddles outside. She actually had the honor of naming my first son. Our friendship is amazing. She’s my go to friend when I need to be told the truth. She’s always a phone call away to say nooooo Tinesha! Our conversations are endless. Forever my girl and forever my first friend for 20 plus years. I Love you!

I met Dretta when I was about 18 years old. We are now 31, wow! We met through our mutual friend Angel where they both attended Hinds Community College. She was so sweet when I first met her and had the biggest smile and she was super bubbly. What made me fall in love with her was the fact that at the time she didn’t curse. I literally died when I heard her say my hiney part (her butt) for the first time. I was with her when I got my first tattoo in a shop in the backyard, and we’ve been making memories since then. She’s one of my favorite people in world even though we don’t talk everyday, whenever we do we pick right back up where we left off.

Dretta and I met our 9th grade year at Greenville Weston High School through our mutual best friend Candice Dunn. . From her house being the hang out spot to my mom's van being the means of transportation we have created a lot of memories together that we find ourselves laughing about to this very day. As we grew older and went our separate ways we remained good friends. Here in Greenville they call us the trio. It's rare you see us apart at big events. 2002 was the beginning of a lifelong friendship.

Andreaietta is one of my best-friends! We officially meet our freshman year at Greenville Weston High School in 2002, along with Aglesia and Felicia, while trying out for the marching band. From the moment we met, she has been genuine and supportive. Andreaietta, Aglesia, Felicia and I have shared millions of life experiences together. I would like to note that we all had pieces to our friendship puzzle but, Andreaietta is the enthusiastic glue that keeps us together.
Carlos Reed
Best Man
Cord and I are brothers. I raised Cord to be the man he is today. I use to go and check on him to make sure that he was doing the right things. A lot of times he would get mad at me for that but he understood that that’s what brothers do. We show love through actions and that is unconditional.
Johnny Rhodes
Best Man
I first met Cord around 2007 during football season at O'Bannon High School. When I saw him at practice he seemed kinda quiet so I introduced myself since I was considered one of the leaders on the team. Shortly after that, we kinda just hung out. He would come chill at my house and his mom always cooked so I hung out at his house. I consider him my brother. That’s much stronger than friendship.

Groomsman
Cord and I first met in high school on the football field. Because of our similar positions on the team, it inevitable that we would spark conversations. One day your mom asked could someone take you home because she had to work and she was not leaving you her car. I offered to take you, while driving you home we talked about where we were from and little did we know, we were raised in the same neighborhood and our mothers knew each other, so we basically had the same upbringing. Small world. After that day We’d talk on the field and make jokes and in a very short time we built an everlasting friendship. On the field we were placed side by side from that point on I had your back and you had mines, we had to build trust within each other and to be honest brother, I’ve trusted you from that day to this one. Man I’m just thinking right now, it’s crazy how fast time flies. I swear it feels like it was just yesterday when me and Johnny would pull those caddys up on Cannon street, walk in the house ready to eat, knowing Ms.Reed done cooked a crazy delicious meal. We’ll chill in the living room, me and Johnny laughing at stuff that don’t make sense just to irritate you bruh. Back then the 3 of us would always get together after school or on weekends, life was easier then, just kicking it with my brothers. I know I created distance in our friendship by moving away, that thought crossed my mind a thousand times. But I soon figured out the distance is just miles, and y’all my guys forever we been past friendship anyway, we brothers for life.
