FLYING

By plane

If you are coming from afar, we recommend you fly into Pisa or Florence. You can then hire a car  from Pisa to Campiglia Marittima: 1:00 hour drive; from Florence to Campiglia Marittima: 1:50 hour; or catch a train. We recommend you hire a car for better mobility.

DRIVING

By car

Per gli Italiani: we strongly recommend you drive to the venue.

Florence to Campiglia Marittima: 1:50 hours.

Pisa to Campiglia Marittima 1:00 hours

Genova to Campiglia Marittima: 2:30 hours.

Pietra Ligure to Campiglia Marittima: 3:30 hours.

TRAVELLING BY TRAIN

By train

Although we recommend you take a car so you can get round easily, train travel is a nice option.

Pisa Centrale to Campiglia Marittima: 1:15 hours (this estimate does include the time commuting between the airport and the central station).

Firenze Santa Maria Novella to Campiglia Marittima: 2:30 hours (this estimate does include the time commuting between the airport and the central station).

Genova Piazza Principe to Campiglia Marittima: 3 hours.

Pietra Ligure to Campiglia Marittima: 5:30 hours (no direct train).

Pro tip: if you're travelling by train be sure to pick a train labeled Freccia Bianca or Freccia Argento. Not only is it much faster, there's also a bar car, so you can get a cappuccino or an Aperol spritz (if you want to get a head start!). If you see something with RV (regionale veloce) or worse yet R (regionale lentissimo) avoid it like the plague, odds are the train will be delayed to the point where you miss the wedding! It's best to book about two months in advance as the prices are at their lowest point.

(Freccias during that week are not bookable at this point and should start appearing in about a months time).

If you are unfortunate enough to be travelling into Florence you will have to book an RV for the segment from Florence to Pisa.
