The Castle
Join us at Castello di Magona, the former residence of the last Grand Duke of Tuscany, who ruled the region from 1824 to 1859. Immerse yourself in history and extravagance in a spectacular hilltop Tuscan castle!
Schedule for the day
Come together for an incredible evening at the spectacular Castello di Magona!
Quarter past five: Gather round for a welcome drink at the entrance of the castle.
Half past five: The ceremony will begin.
Six o'clock: Refreshments will be served.
Seven o'clock: Follow us through the castle to the gardens, here you can enjoy music and a fantastic aperitivo replete with sumptuous snacks. You're welcome to move around as you wish between the lounges.
Half past eight: The dinner now begins, enjoy a range of Italian delicacies prepared in front of you. Find your way to your seat and enjoy the dinner.
Ten o'clock: Descend the stairs to the pool for an after dinner drink and dessert. We have a fantastic selection of amari and digestives. We'll start cutting the cake.
Eleven o'clock: the dining area has been transformed into an outdoor dance floor, the live music starts and the night begins!
Creative black tie
This dress code allows you to tone down your formal attire by adding hints of your own personal style. Although it isn't as formal as black tie, we expect our guests to come up with chic, formal and elegant outfits (when in Italy, dress like an Italian!). Please come in colors though kindly avoid red, total black (in Italian culture this is for funerals), and white outfits.
For ladies: long evening dresses are strongly encouraged. Dressy separates, modern pantsuits and beautiful below-the-knee cocktail dresses are also a possibility.
For gentlemen: dinner jacket ("abito da smoking" per i nostri amici italiani) is encouraged. Alternatively you can opt for a nice suit. Feel free to add a splash of color to your outfit!

Covid test
We are thrilled that we are one step closer to finally celebrating our wedding with you and we want nothing more than to create a space where everyone is able to feel comfortable and enjoy themselves. Alongside the safety measures both we and our venue have put in place, it is our request that guests that are symptomatic take a Rapid Antigen Test a day prior of attending our wedding. In Italy most pharmacies sell Rapid tests that you can perform on yourself within 15 minutes.
Thank you for helping us to have the safest celebration we can! We really appreciate your collaboration!
Activities for the week
We are working to organize an exciting list of activities for the guests that will stay longer with us! You can choose to join activities that you are interested in.
The activities we are looking into include:
1. Truffle hunting
2. Private yacht tour of the Isola d'Elba
3. Wine tastings
4. Bike rides through the vineyards
5. Hikes
6. Visits to beautiful Tuscan towns
7. Thermal baths
If you are staying with us for a few day or the full week and are interested in getting further information please RSVP here and we'll be in touch.
After we finalize the list we will have all of the activities organized in events.
Meal service
We're arranging with the castle and various chefs to set up different dining experiences each night (outside of the wedding night) at the castle.
We're arranging delightful Tuscan and Italian meals every night. Please stay tuned for pricing and meal details.
There is very limited extra capacity for those wishing to dine at the castle who are staying outside of the castle, so please RSVP if you're interested and we'll follow up with details at a later date.
In the RSVP please mention any dietary restrictions so we can ensure they are accommodated. Also list the dates that you are staying.
