Meet Mikayla! This fateful friendship began nearly 20 years ago in front of the pencil sharpener when we truced to end our rivalry and be best friends instead. We've stood the test of time and I can honestly say she's just as much sister as she is friend- but those aren't the only hats she wears! She's also Ms. Schott to her students at Alta Vista Elementary, Dog mom to her fur baby, Bean, fiancé to her main man, John, Auntie Sunny and godmother to my daughter, Blake, and Maid of Honor extraordinaire to me! It didn't take long for me to know Julian would be one of my best friends. Kind, funny and supportive through everything; he was somebody who I could talk about anything with. He is that kind of friend that I know will be honest with me at all times whether or not it's something I want to hear but helps me keep my head on straight in the meantime. Julian is as close as a brother and through it all, I couldn't be happier to have him next to me for our big day.
