Capri is also well-known for it's breath taking attraction called the Blue Grotto. The Blue Grotto is a famed sea cave, whose waters naturally illuminate a bright azure blue color. It was discovered in the early 1st century and became the personal swimming pool for Caesar Tiberius. The cost for a transfer boat and entry into the Blue Grotto will cost approximately 70 euros per person (CASH ONLY).

If you wish to go to the Blue Grotto, we will all meet for the ferry at 10:00am to take us to the island of Capri. Then we will meet at Capri Whales (main port of Capri) at 11:00am in order to take a private boat to the Blue Grotto itself. Have CASH (in euros) ready to pay for the ferry, the private boat to the Blue Grotto, and entrance into the Blue Grotto.

If you do not want to go to the Blue Grotto, you can view the ferry schedule below to choose a time you would like to visit the Island of Capri. 

You are free to stay on the island for lunch, shopping or exploring and return when you want to Positano.

Please note the last ferry leaves at 6:00pm and pick up for the rehearsal dinner will be at 7:00pm near Hotel Conca d'Oro.

What is the difference between a beach club and going to the beach?
Beach clubs require a reservation, you cannot simply show up to the beach. See list of everything that is included with your reservation. We will get to enjoy a traditional Positanese cuisine, an amazing view and crystal water, a professional beach waiter attendant, a great selection of famous and signature cocktails, wine and beer, good food, nice music and cliff jump fun. Expect to be served meals on nice plats, glassware, and a nice restaurant to cool off in! 

What to wear to beach club vs beach?
Positano's beaches are full of rocks, not soft sand so that is why every reservation comes with an umbrella and chair. Please bring shoes to walk around the beach in if you are not comfortable walking on rocks. 
Secondly, if you would like to enjoy your meals in the beach clubs' sitting area, bring a comfortable cover up in case you do not want to sit in your swimsuit in the restaurant. Food is included with your reservation so you will not need to pay for food, only tips if you would like to tip your beach attendant or server in the restaurant. 

Arrive early. Shuttle pick up for the restaurant will be at 7:00pm sharp. There is no place for the shuttle to stop so if you miss the shuttle you will have to find your own way to the restaurant. A return shuttle will be provided back to hotels in Positano.
