Joselyn Dzukey
Mistress of Chalay
Can’t believe it’s been almost 25 years since I was warned that the “crazy girl” was moving on my floor in Wetzel Hall. And yes she lived up to the warning (haha). She took me in as a friend and now my sister for life. From whooping people at spades, how to “live a little” and how to guzzle wine like a pro. Love you sis I am honored to be a part of your big day.
Tamela Burton
Lady Zeta
I met Chaya at WIU 23 years ago OMG! We have been friends ever since. Through the good and bad times she has always been there for me. She is more like my third sister than a friend.
Occupation: Licensed Clinical Social Worker for Blue Cross Blue Shield.
Mother of Madelyn and Michael III, and Wife of Michael Jr.
Dawn Sledge
Lady Sassy Mouth
What can I say about CSID?? Well my first encounter with her was at the liquor store...O wait, that was the second encounter lol.
My first encounter with Chaya was on WIU's campus around 20yrs ago. I was introduced to her through a mutual friend and we all hung out that same night. She was very easygoing and down to earth, we hit it off instantly. There's not many that I call friend but Chaya made the cut! Lol! There's never a dull moment when we get together and I am forever grateful that she is apart of my life.
Tiffany Jackson
Lady Travelista
How did I meet my Travel Bae? Let's go back 20+ years to WIU. Dawn introduced us and it feels like our friendship took off. We had our seasons over the years where we were inseparable. We worked across from each other in the student organization space, pledged a service sorority, shared a pledge Mom. We ended up living across the street from each other and hung out daily after class. Our love of travel started with road trips back then and come to think of it, she was my Foodie Bae back then.
Fast forward to today, Chaya has been such an wonderful friend to have over the years. We have taken multiple trips including Jamaica, New Orleans, Vegas and many more to come. She is such an amazing Sister to have in my life and to share travel experiences with. By her actions and movements, she continues to inspire me and I'm blessed to have her in my circle.
Kristina Brooks
Lady Purple & Gold
I really don’t remember how I met Chaya, I just remember her being friends with the people I started hanging with. She would come down to WIU periodically (she wasn’t actually on campus at the time) and we would hang.
I am terrible at keeping in touch but the same circle of friends came back around and here we are! Whether it’s a mini vacation, events or just chillin at the house...when we’re together I know I’m in good company
Pamela Seaton
Lady Sweet Diva
I first met Chaya on the campus of WIU. We were at an interest meeting for Alpha Sweethearts. I thought she was so stuck-up and saditty. You can't judge a book... By the end of the week, my sister and I were in Chaya's room, kickin' it.
23 years later, we're still friends. We've been there for the biggest milestones in our lives. Love you forever!
Tiffany McCalister
Mistress of Honor & Friendship
I met Chris my sophomore yr of High School. He was funny and super stubborn. He was actually my boyfriend/ex-husbands best friend, whom then became my Best friend, brother and the uncle to my five kids. A new husband and 25 yrs later our friendship still remains.
Justin Robinson
Lord Overseas
Chris and I met on assignment in Kalsu, Iraq in 2008. We were assigned to the same motor pool to work together. One of the first phrases I remember him saying to me was “That’s dumb as F*ck”.
It’s funny how being forced to work and eat lunches with a person will make you find common ground. We started to connect over similar interests in hotrods and real estate ventures. As our time in Iraq progressed, we along with a few others decided to travel to Qatar on a pass. This allowed us to connect on things outside of work. Once that contract was over, we exchanged information and kept in touch. Over the last 11 years, we have remained brothers, visited each other when possible and continued to exchange knowledge and life lessons. I am looking forward to seeing Chris settle down with his forever and maybe now we can go on couples retreats.
Chaunta McMath

Coletha Brown-Sanders
Honorary - Mistress of Honor Athena
I have been staring at this screen trying to come up with the perfect words to tell you, the best advice I can give, but all I can come up with are words from the heart. I'm super proud of everything you have accomplished in your life so far and I have loved watching you grow from my sweet little sister into a smart, independent and beautiful adult you are. You have accomplished so many great things, I’m excited to call you my sister.
Lamont Bowers
Honorary - Chief General & Lord Commander of her Queensguard
I met Chaya through my cousin and a mutual friend, on what seemed like an ordinary day at the time not knowing we would go through so many of life's big moments together. It takes a special person to come pick you up because you’re bored & she's bored, go back to her house and do absolutely nothing but watch movies & be bored together and have a blast doing it!
I can't count how many times you've shown me true kindness and friendship spanning well over a number of years, that would make both of us feel older than we'd like to admit! I know friends like you are extremely rare jewels in life & having you in mine & my family's life is a blessing a thousand times over.
