We hope you love the venue as much as we did on our first visit!
We feel it offers a beautiful yet simple setting for our occasion which we hope is a relaxed, enjoyable and fun affair!
Guests can check in to the vineyard from 4.00 pm on Monday. We will be offering a bus from Lisbon airport at 2.30 pm on Monday, March 26th so please confirm if you would like a space (you can do this in the RSVP section of our site). Otherwise you can make your own way there.
The venue's rooms are booked out for the wedding party. Those of you who prefer to stay on site, we will reserve for guests on a first-RSVP, first reserve basis. To have more information on rooms and rates at the venue, please contact us. We ask our guests to RSVP by November 25th 2023.
Those who wish to organise their own accommodation or who we cannot accommodate on site can see below some options which are nearby the venue. We are happy to help with reservations and transport so please don't hesitate to ask us if you would like any information or help.
You are welcome to bring drink and snacks on site should you wish to do so as the bar and restaurant will be closed apart from during the hours of our events.
Dinner will start at 6.00 pm. Beer and wine will also be served and the session will finish up by 9.00 pm at which time the bar and restaurant will close.
If the weather permits we will hold the bbq outdoors however we recommend wearing a jacket, jumper or cardigan as it will be cool by evening.
If it is wet, we will hold the dinner indoors.
Also note, that the courtyard/terrace is made of cobbled, uneven stone so keep that in mind when choosing your footwear ladies. Block heels might be the way to go!
Venue: Quinta Da Bichinha @ 2.00 pm
The ceremony will start at 2.00 pm and will take place (weather permitting) at the lake on site at the Quinta Da Bichinha vineyard.
If it rains, we will hold the ceremony on site in their ceremony hall.
Dinner, dancing and drinks will follow in the reception room.
There is a courtyard which can be used by guests but note at that time of the year, it won't be that warm so guests may want a pashmina, jacket or blazer if they want to sit outside.
The party will be wrapped up by 2.00 am (approximately).
For anyone staying off site, we are happy to arrange transport home so just let us know where you are staying.
Venue: The Albatroz Hotel, Cascais @ 5.00 pm
The day two celebrations will continue in The Albatroz Hotel which is located in the coastal town of Cascais. We will be running a bus at midday on Wednesday from the venue to Cascais so we recommend guests book accommodation in Cascais so you can check in and chill out before the dinner kicks off.
The restaurant is booked from 5.00 pm until 7.00 pm within which time food and drinks will be served.
Guests are then invited to Cooley's Bar which is within walking distance for some craic and live music by the legendary Fran Deffew!
