How far is Austin from San Antonio?
About 1-hour drive...with a million fast food places in between
We will be looking at transport (with help from Austin family and friends) to drive everyone down to San Antonio from Austin on Thursday, Sept 22.
Closer to the date we will send out an RSVP to get a headcount so we can plan.
When should we arrive in Texas?
Whenever you want! We will be in Austin from Friday, September 16and planning activities for whoever is interested.
How long to spend in Austin and San Antonio?
We recommend at least 3 nights in Austin and then 3 nights in San Antonio. Of course the longer the better!

Coming from Australia there are flights into LA, San Francisco, Houston and Dallas.
From any of these you can fly into Austin, Texas.
