HOW TO GET TO POSITANO

Airports
Naples Airport (NAP)
The easiest way to get to Positano is to fly directly into Naples (NAP) Airport.
From there you can schedule a private transfer to Positano or take a ferry from Naples to the Port of Positano. We recommend booking a transfer, as it takes away some of the extra logistics of having luggage and dealing with crowds.
Rome Airport (FCO)
Alternatively, from Rome Airport (FCO), you can take the Leonardo DaVinci Express train to the center of Rome. From the center, you can take a fast train (1hr) from Roma Termini Station to Napoli Centrale.
Private Transfer
Book your private transfer from the airport (FCO or NAP) or train station to Positano. This is the most comfortable and seamless option especially if you have a decent amount of luggage. Your driver will meet you at the airport or train station platform and drive you directly to your accommodations.

Trains
Train Travel (Rome to Naples)
Roma Termini - Napoli Centrale (1hr~)
Train tickets are best purchased in advance, but they do not go on sale until 90 days before departure.
Ferry
Ferries are a great way to get around the Amalfi and Sorrento coast. Ferries typically run several times a day from Naples to Positano.
Buying in advance is not usually necessary. We recommend you arrive at least 30 minutes early to purchase tickets and get to the correct boarding platform.
Please be sure that your passport is valid for up to 6 months from the time of travel.
Italy's currency is EUR - best to order from cash from your bank at home. Do not bring USD to exchange. Credit cards welcomed in most places, but not all taxi's for example.
Cell Phone: Please contact your carrier for International data and messaging plans. Wifi is widely available.
Electronics: USA-EU plug converters are available in the USA for purchase. Anything that heats up like a curling iron will require a proper convertor. This is not available on site, but you can bring with you. Hair dryers and irons will be available on site at most hotels.
