You will be flying direct (if departing from YEG) into Cancun International Airport (CUN). There will be a complimentary shuttle between the airport and resort with the specific schedule to be announced. The shuttle trip will take approximately 45 minutes.

Immerse yourself in nature and ancient Mayan history at our truly unique all-inclusive resort in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. Here at Sandos Caracol Eco Resort, you can swim in the crystal-clear waters of a ancient jungle cenote, lounge on the beach surrounded by palm trees, or spend an adrenaline-filled day at the full-size water park.
As the most famous all-inclusive eco resort in Mexico, Sandos Caracol is full of nature and wildlife just waiting to be discovered. You'll find ancient freshwater sink holes formed by underground rivers, natural jungle lined waterways, and a variety of exotic bird species and mammals roaming around the resort.
ACTIVITIES FOR ALL AGES
There are so many amazing activities for people of all ages right in the resort, including the Sandos Aqua Park, nature experiences and eco activities, nightly theatre shows, and daily activities.
Besides splashing in pools and hitting the waterslides, children can visit the animals living on the Mini Farm and participate in supervised games, crafts, and activities at the Kids Club (4-10 years old).
Guests can visit the beach, rent bicycles to tour the resort, swim in the cenote, take a kayak or walking tour, go on a photo safari, do water sports, plant a tree, and more! You can also get a complimentary day pass to visit their beautiful sister resort, Sandos Playacar!

Does the group rate include EVERYTHING?
Your rate includes your flights, checked bag, all-inclusive accommodations, airport shuttle, and all applicable taxes EXCEPT the Environmental Sanitation Tax (approximately $29 MXN Pesos or $1.42 USD per person per night, pending exchange rate). This tax is payable directly to the resort upon check in. Rates are subject to change.
When is my full payment due?
Final payments are due by May 3, 2024.
What are my payment options?
Payment options are flexible! You can pay your entire balance at once, make a lump-sum payment of any size at any time, or have your credit card charged a pre-determined amount monthly. Please get in touch with Keana to discuss your options.
Are children welcome?
YES! Children of any age are welcome for all parts of the celebration. Please note that families are not able to stay in or visit the Select Club section of the resort.
But I want to party that night! Is there a childcare service available?
Yes, the resort has a childcare service at an additional cost and subject to availability.
Are there cribs available for my baby?
Yes, they have cradles and playpens for babies; to request one, send an email to webrelations.caracol@sandos.com. While they recommend you bring your own, strollers can also be requested upon availability.
What will the weather be like?
Hot days and warm nights. Playa del Carmen averages a high of 32° C and a low of 25° C during the month of July. Don't forget your sunscreen! May to October is the wet season, but July has the lowest average rainfall of those months (~150 mm).
