Their love story began during the most challenging time of the 21st century - the 2020 pandemic. Thanks to a mutual friend, they connected on Instagram, and Keith went from sliding in the DM’s to planning an unforgettable first date filled with cheesy pickup lines at Armando's in Houston, TX.
Despite wearing masks, they saw each other clearly. As they spent more time together, their connection grew stronger.
With the pandemic behind them, their lives seamlessly intertwined as they met each other's friends, family, and coworkers. They began traveling together and discovered they had even more in common than they thought.
Diana visited Keith's hometown in Roanoke, VA, to meet his friends and family, and everyone thought 'The Carter' might finally settle down. Diana's mom had even told her early on, 'This might be the one.'
Fast forward three years, and they've added a rambunctious Australian Shepherd named Ace and countless beautiful memories to their story. Keith finally visited Diana's homeland in Medellin, Colombia, and what started as her 30th birthday celebration ended with a surprise engagement party surrounded by their closest friends and family. Keith flew in his dad and her mom for an epic surprise.
