GETTING AROUND & THINGS TO DO

TRANSPORT

Trains

South Eastern trains service the area.

Use the link below to check trains.

From London:

Kings Cross St Pancras (fast but $$) High Speed service to Canterbury (55 Min) or to Sandwich (1h35)

London Bridge (slow) to Canterbury / Ashford with changes to get you to most other places.

Buses

I wouldn't even try.

Let me know if you do work them out ... !!!

Taxis

We will be letting the local taxi companies know that we may be needing them, and depending on numbers will probably put some shuttles on between the church and venue and maybe some for the end.

For your reference the below companies operate in Sandwich/Deal and there will be a larger number from Canterbury:

Sandwich Cars : +44 (0) 1304 617 424

Taxis (Sandwich) : +44 (0) 1304 614 209

Deal Cars : +44 (0) 1304 382 345

Sadly no UBER, I'm afraid folks - but in case you need to London UBER drivers are normally very happy to whizz you down for somewhere between 60-100 quid cash.

Cars

Hiring a car is probably the best way to get around if you don't have your own. Most places you can find free parking and it is nice to be able to explore the area.

I will put some driving instructions on another page.. . . .
