CHAPTER 1
About 4 years ago we met at a party that our close friends, Jessica and Sean, were hosting. That night, we kept making eye contact from across the room - just two strangers checking each other out. Jessica (Brynn’s best friend since pre-school) must have seen what was going on and quickly became the matchmaker hero of our story. She grabbed Brynn’s arm, dragged her across the room and introduced us. We said about 9 awkward words to each other that night.
Those 9 words were enough for us to want to get to know one another though because a couple of days later, we both ended up calling Jessica and Sean to casually ask about each other.

CHAPTER 2
Fast forward to a few weeks later and we were on a double date with our matchmakers. After dinner, we went to an arcade and Brynn beat Kyle in pretty much every video game that we played (#NerdAlert). A lesser man may have walked away that night with a bruised ego having lost so badly to a girl. But not Kyle.

CHAPTER 3
The next day Kyle called Brynn and asked her out to dinner. But as the old saying goes...we make plans, and God laughs.
A few hours later Kyle called again and said he couldn't go to dinner anymore, and asked, “Do you want to come over and help me wash Jack?” Umm…who the heck is Jack and why does he need help washing himself? Turned out, Jack was Kyle’s family dog and he’d been sprayed by a skunk. Date number 2...bring on the tomato paste!
Here we are almost 4 years later, planning our wedding and our life together.
The right people come into our lives when we need them the most and it’s mind-blowing to think about how a single glance across a room full of people can change…everything.
