Well - Britt didn’t remember the first time she met Rob, but that’s a story for a different day.

We met in earnest in the Spring of 2007. We were both cast in “Guys and Dolls.” Rob was entranced by Britt’s Hot Box Girl charm, and Britt couldn’t resist Rob’s charisma as Harry the Horse. A classic “boy meets girl” story in the midst of a classic “boy meets girl” musical.

We began officially dating on January 5, 2008, and the rest, as they say, is history. We now live in Montclair, NJ with our crazy little dog, Turtle - ready for whatever adventure is next.

Rob proposed to Brittany by the duck pond (no irony intended) in the Duke Gardens. Rob used his 10 year reunion as pretense for being in Durham, and he invited her on a “nostalgia tour" to the places that were most special to us: where Rob first saw Brittany, the rehearsal space where we fell for each other, where we first kissed, and others.Finally we ended up in the Duke Gardens, where Rob added one more special place to the list.

When people asked Britt how she didn’t see it coming, Britt said, “I don’t know. He does these cute things all the time.” - I hope she always feels that way. - <3 Rob
