Welcome to Colorado! This is our home and we truly love it.

We've chosen the beautiful Westminster, Colorado to call home for a few days.

The Shops at Walnut Creek/Westminster Prominade is located 17 miles West of Denver International Airport and 18 miles from our Wedding in Boulder. We have included information about the area. We hope you enjoy your visit!

For our out of town guests, we will have a little care package for you at the hotel with things that we think will be needed at some point in your stay. We’ve included a water bottle, some pain relievers, a map with a list of things to do or places near by, and some IV hydration packets.

Fun Fact: Colorado is home to 58 mountain peaks over 14,000 feet that we affectionately call 14ers. Westminster where we are now sits at 5,280 feet in elevation. At the high elevation here in Colorado the air is a lot thinner with less oxygen than from sea level. With lower levels of oxygen it can affect you in many different ways. One of the biggest ways it affects you is called altitude sickness. Altitude sickness is no joke, it can cause headaches and makes you feel sick. Water is your best friend, and we recommend heavy hydration (just add the IV packets to water for some flavor and an extra boost of cell hydration.) If you do encounter headaches the pain relievers should help! These measures will help you feel great so you can enjoy your visit and our big day. Also with less oxygen means alcohol affects you at a much faster rate so if you plan on drinking, either at our wedding’s open bar or just during your stay please be smart and drink responsibly! We love you and care about you sharing our big day with us.
