The world was shutting down, but our lives together were just beginning!
We met the modern way: by swiping right on Hinge, after connecting by our love for Italian food. At first, we just talked for hours every night but if it wasn't for a mutual friend that Jordan used to work with, we never would have ever met.
On our first date we of course had Italian food! Then we went bowling as it was one of the only things to do on the COVID-19 days. We honestly had the time of our life. Bowling has since become one of our favorite things to do for date night as a couple or with some of our friends.
As our relationship grew Jordan started looking for a new job in Fort Wayne so that he could be closer to me while I was finishing up pharmacy school classes and moving on to rotations. Eventually, we moved in together with my cat and two Australian Shepards. Although, at the time I am pretty sure they liked him more than me from the start.
Jordan proposed to me in Tennessee after driving through one of the worst snow storms we have ever experienced in either of our lives! Since then it seems to be anytime we drive anywhere we always have horrible weather but have grown to love the extra travel time to spend talking. Looking back I should have known he was going to propose after he picked a cabin at the top of a mountain (Jordan is afraid of heights but I love the mountains).
Since being engaged we have already experienced many life changes from moving to Indianapolis, me starting residency, Jordan getting a new job he can relocate with, renting our first house together, getting a third Australian shepherd (yes we are crazy!!!), and me committing to another residency in order to specialize.
We are excited for even more changes to come and can not wait to have you Join us as we say "I Do" on October 28th, 2023.
