It is an honor for Joannie and Balson to have Stephanie Nwoke at their wedding, even more so as their Bridesmaids (like what ? ) that’s crazy. It is such a privilege. The amount of wisdom and grace this woman embodies is unbelievable. They are humble that she and her husband, Nick Nwoke, decided to spend such an important day with them. It makes the day all the more special.

No words could express the relationship between Isabelle and Joannie. Someone who is always there for her in need of guidance who uplifts her and encourage her to see the best in her and always makes her laugh. She is so much fun to be around but also the greatest teacher and guide that she has ever known. She also keeps her accountable and allow her to be herself. They have only known each other for three years but it feels like a lifetime.

Shakti and Joannie met on Joannie’s first internship working for a council woman. As soon as they met, it was an instant connection. She taught Joannie the ropes and have helped her through navigating the political office world. She is so much fun to be around. One thing to know about Shakti is that if you are somewhere where there is soca music you’re definitely dancing. She is amazing young woman with big heart.

The bride’s first ever friend since she came to the U.S. They have shared amazing moments together. Jamila and the bride went to the same college and became very close. This is one who always have her back and no matter how long they spent no being in contact, when they finally get back together, it’s a if there was no time lost, it just picked up right where it was left off. She is loyal friend amazing heart and great sense of humor.

Annoucka Philemon is a dear friend of the bride and groom. Claudy, Annoucka’s husband and the groom knew each other since college. They all got to hang out together at Claudy’s birthday dinner and since then, it was as if they were friends for a very long time. All four friends have shared special moments such as Annoucka and the bride have shared girls day out, Annoucka and her husband’s, Claudy, wedding day as their bridesmaid and groomsman. Now, the table have turned they both will be joining the groom and the bride side on their special day. It could have been more exciting.
