It all started at Beychella a.k.a. Beyonce when she played Coachella in 2018. Blair had a work event in LA that day and right when it ended she blasted Beyonce in her Prius and headed straight for Coachella. She got there just in time to see the legendary performance with her closest girlfriends.
After the set Sarah and Blair parted ways with the girls to meet Keith, Kevin, and Matt at the Ferris Wheel before walking back to the car. That was where Blair first met Keith Smith. Blair drove them all back to their airbnb and once they got there everyone went to sleep except for Keith and Blair. They stayed up talking and Blair was mindlessly staring at a bag of Trader Joes Potato Chips. However, since Blair hadn't stayed here the night before she knew it wasn't polite to just open someone else's groceries. Keith soon noticed Blair locking eyes with the chips and opened them for her. After a few handfuls of chips were had, Keith and Blair both said goodnight and went their separate ways.
The next day (April 22,2018) everyone met up again at the beer garden at Coachella and exchanged schedules of the acts they wanted to see. Everyone stayed to watch Cardi B from the Beer Garden, and then before the end of her set Kevin, Keith, Matt, and Holly left to get a good spot for Migos at the Sahara Tent. When they got there Holly could tell that Keith was trying to find Blair. Once she noticed that she quickly worked to make sure Blair headed over to meet her, Keith, and the boys.
Blair and Keith were then reunited and started dancing to Stir Fry. After the set they headed over to Odesza. During the drone fireworks display while Say My Name was playing Keith leaned over and asked to kiss Blair to which she responded "Sure" and the rest is history.
P.S. A year into dating Sarah actually discovered that they first met in the Coachella car campgrounds in 2016. Which is where the above photo is from.
Keith proposed to Blair at Malibu Bluffs Park, one their favorite COVID date spots. To convince her to come with him to Malibu, Keith pretended to really want to go to their favorite seafood restaurant, Malibu Seafood. Blair was a little suspicious that Keith wanted to drive over an hour to pick up dinner, as normally he wants to travel no more than 20 minutes, so she made sure to wear a nice dress and do her make-up, just in case. After Keith recommended they stop at Malibu Bluffs Park on the way to dinner, her suspicion increased even more. Yet after they walked by the most picturesque spot in the park, she started to lose her suspicion that this was the moment. Yet walking back to the car, Keith handed Blair a letter, and asked her to read it. When Blair looks up from the letter, Keith was on one knee, and there was the ring!
After taking a few minutes to take it all in, they took a few pictures and then they were off to dinner, supposedly with Keith’s brother and girlfriend who happened to be in town for the weekend. Yet when they got to the restaurant, their parents were there as well! It was a very special moment for both of them to see their parents and siblings. To wrap up the day, Keith and Blair met their LA friends at a bar planned by Courtney and Holly. It was certainly a day to remember for a lifetime!
Keith took Blair to one of the nicest restaurants in L.A., The Bazaar by Jose Andres. The original plan per Keith was that they were supposed to grab dinner and go to a Comedy Show after (but Blair didn't discover this until after they were dating for 2 years already lol). However, the plans changed when their dinner was over 2 hours and they hadn't even gotten dessert yet. This restaurant was known for having a dessert room, and since Blair is a foodie Keith wanted to impress her by taking her there. Once they finished dinner they walked to E.P. L.P but it had too long of a line, so they ended up walking to Melrose Umbrella Co. It was disco night so they got drinks and danced the night away.
P.S. While the photo above is not from their first date, this photo is from the day after their first date 5/5/2018. Blair invited Keith to their Cinco de Mayo party and they've been together ever since.
