WELCOME TO TAMPA!
We are taking every precaution to make this event as safe as possible, please see below for further information.
- All guests are asked to have a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of our wedding date, December 3rd 2021. Please bring copy of test results for the event. If you feel ill, we kindly ask you refrain from attending.
- The venue is fully indoor, however, in an effort to provide more space, the entire venue space will be available for the event.
- Passed hor d'oeuvres and a fully plated meal will be served.
- Masks will not be required, however anyone who wishes to wear a mask is encouraged to do so.
- Hand sanitizer will be readily available throughout the event.
Tampa International Airport (TPA). We recommend flying directly into TPA; the hotels and venue are no more than 15 minutes away.
Orlando International Airport (MCO). Approximately 1.5 hrs away from hotels and venue. If your travel plans include the Orlando theme parks, you may want to consider flying into MCO and having a car rental. Please note you will have to take I-4 to Tampa, which often has heavy traffic, so plan accordingly.
Welcome to our beautiful Tampa Bay! We absolutely love our home and hope you enjoy your time here! Please note some of these activities may be limited during these COVID times.
Hyde Park Village. An outdoor center with many great shops and restaurants. If still in town, check out the Sunday farmer's market with many local vendors and cuisine.
Clearwater Beach. Voted one of the top 10 beaches in America. Lobster bisque at Frenchy's Grill & a piña colada at the Sandpearl Resort are a must. Approximately 45 minute drive from either hotel block.
St. Pete Beach. Approximately 45 minute drive from either hotel block. A quieter beach compared to Clearwater.
Tampa Bay Lightning. Is there really a better hockey team? We don’t think so either. The arena is a 5-10 minute walk from either hotel block, so if you have the time, go catch some good hockey in our sunny Florida.
Weeki Wachee Springs: A historic Florida destination where you are able to book kayaks or snorkeling with the manatees. Approximately an hour drive from Tampa.
Orlando (and Disney of course!). Approximately an hour drive from Tampa; if you're here for a longer stay make the drive and have some fun at the parks!
Ulele: A Tampa original serving native- inspired food, drinks and beer from their own brewery.
Oggi’s Italian: Our favorite for some hearty pasta.
On Swann- A local favorite serving seasonal New American cuisine.
Sparkman Wharf: Multiple “street” food stands, restaurants and lounging areas on the waterfront.
Armature Works: Our TPA version of Chelsea Market. An indoor space with multiple vendors and a variety of food.
Bern's Steakhouse: A historic steakhouse serving the best steak in the state. Reservations are required and we recommend booking as soon as possible. If unable to get full restaurant reservations, the Dessert Room is just a great of an experience.
Capa (Orlando)- If you are planning on a Disney experience, this restaurant located in the rooftop of the Four Seasons Orlando provides great food and an amazing view of the night-time fireworks.
While we enjoy plenty of sun, weather in the “winter” months can be temperamental and unpredictable. Rain in December is not uncommon & we do occasionally get a cold spell. We recommend checking the weather prior to packing to be best prepared!
P.S. If you are planning on a prolonged stay with outdoor activities, a rain jacket is always a Florida must.
