The story - - told by Danielle and Bo
Danielle: On an average night in November 2015, Danielle attended a work event that she had planned for the young members of the BIA. While she looked forward to seeing a few friends and sipping a chardonnay, she anticipated an average evening of working late. A mutual friend of Bo and Danielle, mentioned to Danielle that a cute, single coworker would be joining that evening. Danielle thought very little of this, and even put more consideration into attending the “speed-dating” event that was happening next door.
Bo: Danielle was immediately taken with Bo’s good looks, witty humor, sharp sense of style, and his incredible distance vision, recently acquired through Lasik. It was easy for Danielle to realize she had found the man of her dreams.
Danielle: Danielle thought Bo was tolerable, and might be cute enough, but she wished he would stop talking about his recent Lasik surgery. Just as she stood up to leave for the singles event next door, Bo showed her a photo of his cat, Bailey.
Bo: As the evening progressed, Danielle and Bo found themselves still locked in conversation. Bo tried to steer the conversation to sports and hobbies in an attempt to find other shared interests, but the topic of cats persisted. Luckily Bo had a trove of cat (and dog) photos on his phone which fueled an evening of connecting over a love of furry friends.A few cat convos, dog walks, and glasses of wine later, Bo and Danielle are getting married!
