Our story definitely did not start the traditional way. It was not love at first sight nor were we a big fan of each other. We saw one another at work everyday and even had desks in close proximity. As time passed, we grew fond of each other. We realized how different our personalities were but it was the perfect balance.

After one of us decided to take the leap and leave to pursue another career opportunity. We could not wait to talk to one another at the end of the day. That was the highlight of our day. We had to get used to not seeing each other first thing in the morning. We compensated by spending time together after work and going to the gym together. Any excuse we could think of we used so we could see each other.

Every love story has moments where times get really tough. We had our fair share of those moments as well. We relied heavily on our friends for guidance and opinion. We would like to thank Kunal (Parimal's. Bestman), Priya (Bansari's Bridesmaid), and Puja (Maid of Honor) for always lending an ear.

After sorting out our differences and finally convincing Bansari to talk to her parents about me. We set a date to introduce our parents for the first time and it went amazing, just as we hoped. We were both on cloud 9, and in that moment there was nothing more we could have wanted.

Bansari knew she was going to be proposed to, but didn't know when it was going to happen. She kept asking Parimal, when the big date was going to be as if he was going to share. Parimal completely surprised her on June 30th 2018 when she thought she was spending the day with her friend Shivani (bridesmaid) in NYC, but it was all part of the plan. They came to the hotel where Parimal was waiting, and that's when he got down on one knee and popped the life changing question. The answer was a BIG FAT YES! This moment would not have been so special without our family and friends helping out and keeping the secret the whole time. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Right after the proposal, we started the planning process for the big day. All of our family and friends told us this is going to be a challenging but a fun process to go through, so enjoy it! Boy were they wrong for a while, it was more work than our regular day-time jobs. In all seriousness, it has been a fun process, we learned a lot about each other and have grown closer because of it.

After getting a few grey strands (literally, for Parimal). Learning to negotiate, a journey to India together, and planning all the fine details, we can say we are almost at the home stretch.
We’d love you to have a look around and learn more about our wedding day plans. You can also RSVP online and leave us a song request to get you up on the dance floor!
We can’t wait to see you there, and wanted to say a huge thanks for your love and well wishes so far.
Love, Bansari & Parimal
