Vilnius Cathedral
The Vilnius Cathedral is the main Roman Catholic Cathedral of Lithuania.
Inside its crypts and catacombs are buried many famous people from Lithuanian and Polish history
Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania
It was originally constructed in the 15th century for the rulers of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and the future Kings of Poland.
There is a really interesting museum about history of Lithuania.
The Vilnius Town Hall
It is a historical town hall in the square of the same name in the Old Town of Vilnius, Lithuania.
The Town Hall Square at the end of the Pilies Street is a traditional centre of trade and events in Vilnius
Gediminas Tower
Gediminas' Tower is the remaining part of the Upper Castle in Vilnius, Lithuania.
The first brick castle was completed in 1409 by Grand Duke Vytautas.
It is possible to climb to the top of the hill on foot or by taking a lift. The tower houses a great museum.
Three crosses
Three Crosses is a prominent monument in Vilnius, Lithuania, on the Hill of Three Crosses. Built in 17th century.
According to a legend, seven Franciscan friars were beheaded on top of this.
Užupis
In 1997, the residents of the area declared the Republic of Užupis, along with its own flag, unofficial currency, president, cabinet of ministers, a constitution written by Romas Lileikis and Thomas Chepaitis, an anthem, and an army of approximately 11 men.
The army has since been retired, do not worry, guys!!!
The residents of the self-declared republic celebrate this independence annually on Užupis Day, which falls on April 1.
Mo Museum
Modern art in Vilnius. The collection of 5,000 modern and contemporary pieces contains major Lithuanian artworks from the 1950s to this day.
The Bernardine Garden
It is located on the right bank of the Vilnia River between the Gediminas Tower and Bernardine Monastery and it covers over 9 hectares.
It hosts a monastery exposition, a botanic exposition and other recreational territory including a children's amusement park. It hosts a variety of festivals and exhibitions, including an amateur chess championship
Trakai city
Trakai is a town in southeastern Lithuania, west of Vilnius, the capital. Part of the Trakai Historical National Park, Trakai Island Castle is a 14th-century fortress in the middle of Lake Galvė.
