Dan and I met 4.5 years ago in Palm Springs, CA at a music festival. I had noticed his curly hair on the first day of the festival and continued to cross paths with him over the next 48 hours. As the festival was coming to a close and my friend and I were packing up to drive home, Dan wandered over and sat down next to me. We spent the next few hours getting to know each other and when I drove home the next day I told my friend that one day I would marry that man. The rest is history.
Dans proposal was a long time in the making, and as I like to plan most things I knew exactly how I envisioned my proposal. As 2018 was drawing to a close I knew we needed to get in a ski trip over the New Years holiday. During a day of skiing we took a short break to enjoy the gorgeous mountain views. As I turned around to talk to him, there he was, down on one knee holding the ring we had designed together.
