"Ashley & Nikhil Episode 1 - Distances Can't Stop Us" is a tale that rivals the works of Tolkien and Rowling.
Our story begins in Ann Arbor where I, Nikhil Shah, was tricked into attending an Indian Classical Concert. I arrived at the show with one goal in mind, to not fall asleep. Suffice it to say I did not achieve my goal. I did, however, meet Ashley. Fast forward some months of studying/hanging out and we were officially a couple. Ashley's senior year of undergrad marked our single year of dating prior to 5 grueling years of long distance. Those years were spent flying back and forth from Michigan to DC (Shout out Delta for that 75 minute flight). Then, as I was winding down my last semester in Ann Arbor we decided to take a trip cross-country to the Emerald City. It was in Seattle, on February 24th 2018, that I decided to take Ashley to Chihuly Garden and Glass and popped the question. Since then I've moved to D.C. and our lives have become a whirlwind of wedding planning as we strive to put on a fabulous event for all of you reading.
We can't wait to celebrate with all of you as we begin Ashley and Nikhil Episode 2 - We're Married, Now What?
