What Should I Wear?

Neehar's favorite question - "What Do I Wear?"

Is this a wedding or a fashion show? Why can't it be both! Everyone is encouraged to come dressed to the nines - wear your best, the limit truly does not exist!

Under the Events tab, you will find a dress code and related Pinterest board for each of our events. The dress code & color palette is just a suggestion and recommendation, and the Pinterest board is there to serve for inspiration. Feel free to interpret the dress code in whichever way works best for you and your comfort.

If you do end up purchasing something off of the Pinterest board, feel free to let me know and I can remove it from the board if you desire.

For those looking for recommendations on where to purchase clothing, please see below for some of my favorite places:

Saj Dhaj Ke (based in NYC, NC, and online - 10% discount with the code ArunNeehar10)

Aayka Fashion (based in NYC and online - 10% discount with the code #ArunNeehar10)

Verve & Vogue (based in NC and online - 15% discount when you mention our wedding!)

KYNAH (based in LA and online)

Pernia's Pop-Up Shop (based online)

Depending on where you are purchasing your outfits, it may take up to 3 months to receive, so please plan accordingly.

If you have any specific questions on the dress code, please reach out to me directly (Neehar - 5105094910) - these are truly my favorite questions!

Can I Bring A Plus One or Additional Family Members?

Our wedding is strictly RSVP only and can only accommodate those that are listed on the invitation (you can confirm those on your invite on the RSVP tab).

If you have any concerns and specific questions regarding who is listed on your invitation, please contact Arun and Neehar directly.

Are Young Children Invited?

Your family is our family! If your children were listed on the invitation, they are welcome to attend the events.

There will be a nanny/childcare service available to parents, if they choose to opt in. More details and associated cost will be made available closer to the date. If you are interested in inquiring about this service, please feel free to reach out to Arun and Neehar directly and we will put you in contact with our planners.

If your children will be attending our events, our only request is that parents be mindful of their children and any noise/disruptions during major programming (such as bride & groom entries, performances/speeches, and first dance). At the end of the day, we understand that they are just kids and want to have fun too!

If you choose to leave your children with grandparents, and prefer a child-free vacation, please notate that your child will not be attending on the RSVP so we can accommodate accordingly.

What Will the Weather be like?

As Thailand is a tropical destination, it is HOT all year round, with January being one of the more pleasant months. Hua Hin in January has an average high-temperature of 30°C/86°F and an average low-temperature of 22°C/72°F. While it is a breezy, beach side city, it is also quite humid, bringing "feels like" temperatures into the 90s.

Please keep this in mind as you plan for your outfits and related necessities to bring. All indoor venues will be air conditioned and there will be fans for the outdoor venues, but please prepare for the weather accordingly!

What is Our Hashtag?

Our hashtag is something you will see pop up randomly in the months leading up to our wedding, and throughout our wedding weekend, and we encourage you to use it too. Feel free to use our hashtags on your social media when posting coverage from our events!

#ArunFoundHisPatNee - this translates to Arun Found His Wife. Patni is the word for wife in Hindi or in this case - PatNee!

What Is An Unplugged Ceremony?

Our wedding ceremony will be an unplugged event. This means, we request you to put down any phones and other electronic devices and just be present in the moment with us!

Please keep cell phones/tablets/cameras in your bag and on mute. We have photo and video professionals hired to capture this occasion, and we will share all photos/event coverage with you after the event. The greatest gift you can give us today is just being fully present and with us in this sacred moment.

We want to look at you and see you smiling back at us, not your phones or cameras! Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in making this day special!

Where Else Should I Travel?

If you are looking to make our wedding a vacation, there are tons of nearby destinations you can travel.

Our wedding will be in Hua Hin, which is driving distance to Bangkok. Definitely spend a day or two in Bangkok, exploring the city, before heading to your next destination!

Within Thailand, there are several places that are a quick flight or drive away. Phuket, Phi Phi Islands, Krabi, Chiang Mai, and Ko Samui are just a few places that you can add to your itinerary.

Outside of Thailand, popular destinations that you can travel to are: Vietnam, Singapore, Bali, Malaysia, Cambodia, Maldives, Japan, or India!
