Important Information before traveling to Mexico
Make sure your passport is valid and bring with you a copy of other important documents like:
*Printed copy of your passport and other important documents such as Driver´s license.
*Health or Travel Insurance
*Flight tickets
*Accommodation
Many places such as restaurants, bars, hotels and stores accept American dollars, mexican pesos and payments with Credit/Debit card.
In the area you can find ATM´s like Multiva and local banks where you can withdraw cash. Please consider the commissions added for these operations.
If you decide to bring cash with you, you can exchange USD or EUR for Mexican Pesos in the Exchange House. Some hotels offer this service in the front desk.
Taxis only take cash (USD, Mexican Peso)
