Once you decide that you are going to join us for our special day, please reach out and let us know. We would love to know about when you plan on arriving and departing from Lebanon so that we can be spending as much time as we can together whilst you are there.
In addition to this, we will happily help you out with arranging transportation from the airport - whether this be in the form of us coming to get you or a recommendation for a suitable transportation arrangement/company.
If you plan on hiring a car, this is an excellent option for seamless site seeing and exploring whilst you are in Lebanon. Alternatively, Uber is the best app to use in Lebanon when organising reliable transportation.
We recommend that you stay in the town of Batroun as there are many cafes, restaurants, beach clubs and historical sites that are within a walking distance. Batroun also offers golf carts or Tuk Tuks (similar concept to Thailand) which can easily take you from point A to B locally.
Taxis are also available everywhere.
The currency that is used in Lebanon is US Dollars (USD).
You cannot withdraw cash from ATMs so it is best that you exchange money in the country that you are coming from, prepared with all of the USD that you may use during your stay.
You may receive Lebanese Lira (LBP) when receiving change. It is still used in the country - a green 100,000LBP bill = 1USD.
It is best if you only use and rely on cash as opposed to card as a form of payment.
