Antoine: This is how we met.... It was a dark and stormy night..
Kiara: Boy shut up and tell the story right !
Antoine: Ok ok the night we met it was dark and raining tho !
Kiara: Yes it was raining and that's why I really didn't want to come out the house.
Antoine: Yea me either because we both are really home bodies and was being good people by coming to the party a mutual friend was having.
Kiara: I was there but I didn't know anybody except the host so most of the time I was just sitting by myself.
Antoine: Yea I saw this beautiful lady at the bar and I just stood by and observed knowing she didn't want a guy all in her face.
Kiara: Definitely didn't, not even you because I showed my face at the party and was really ready to go back home and get in the bed.
Antoine: I couldn't think of anything to say to her but once I got the courage up after a few drinks..I walked up to her and said the creepiest thing ever...."I like your hair!"
Kiara: Thank you! (with a real weird look on her face).
Antoine: I'm like damn I messed up bad, and 20 minutes later she's about to leave. I waited for her to come by me so I could say goodbye but she didn't and I would be crushed if that's the first and last impression I made on her... then as she went to walk out the door the host asked me to walk her to her car and I'm like this can't be happening, just be cool and don't say or do anything stupid and definitely don't ask for her number. Just be yourself, and that's just what I did. I walked her out to the car and opened her door and said get home safely.
Kiara: What he didn't know is him being a gentleman and opening my door for me was the only thing on my mind going home and the next day.
Antoine: I really didn't think about it much after that, then I get a call from my baby sister the next day and she asked me to come by her salon. Later that day I walked into my sister salon and got the biggest surprise of my life...little miss pretty hair is working here now.
Kiara: I had just moved to his sister salon a few months prior and I had heard her talk about her brother but never met him and once everything started coming together it was really a God sent that we met.
Antoine: I didn't mess this second opportunity up and was super flirty with her, I got her to laughing and the rest is history as they say!!!
