We can't wait to catch up with you all next week!
For those that are around we have been in contact and organised a stag and hens afternoon (details below).

Let us know if you now can come and couldn't before.

We have then organised a bar in Queenstown to all catch up to in the evening and joined by anyone that can't make the afternoon.

Stag activities

Highlands Go-Karting Adventure.
Get ready to race! We’re heading to Highlands for some go-karting fun — adrenaline, laughs, and a little friendly competition.
We've sorted bus transport from Queenstown, and we’ll be back in time to catch up with everyone at Smiths from 6pm.
Cost is $87 for go-karting plus maybe a few dollars for transport (we're working on that!)

Hen's activities

We’re booked in for a fab afternoon at Kinross Winery in Gibbston Valley from 2pm for a fun afternoon of pottery, wine, and snacks.

We'll do a pottery sesh where we’ll each make our own mug or dish. No pressure to be a ceramic goddess — just come ready to get a little messy and have a laugh.
Pottery is $50.

There's also an optional wine tasting for $25. Taste some great wines and get a glass of your favourite! 

There will of course also be snacks - can't have wine without the snacks!

Transport to be confirmed next week.

Evening Cheers

Drinks and food at Smiths in Queenstown.

Casual and friendly and a great chance to catch up with old friends and meet new friends :).

We have reserved the back area and we'll be there from 6pm

They have a nice casual food menu or there are plenty of options close by.

Sunday post-wedding catch up

Hi all!

We're having a post-wedding gathering the morning after from 11am.

It will be at our local cafe /bar Franks 11th Avenue, they do great breakfast and lunch options at reasonable prices.

We have reserved the bar area, and they might even put on happy-hour prices for those who want the hair of the dog!

All are welcome, those who have travelled with kids please bring your little ones, and also please bring those who looked after your little ones while you celebrated our big day with us!

We'd like this to be a cool celebration of everyone who has played a part in our awesome occasion!

There are lots of great hotels and AirBnBs around central Queenstown, Frankton or even Arrowtown.

Booking.com or AirBnB are the best websites to use.

If you have any questions on accomodation please let us know. we are happy to help out.

TRANSPORT

GETTING TO AND FROM THE WEDDING

UPDATE 13/10/25 - We have those who have indicated they require transport details, and pick up times and locations will be confirmed next week. 

The wedding and reception will be on the shores of Lake Hayes!

For those who like useless facts...it is exactly 1 Mile from our home as the crow flies!! And yes....Paul has measured it!!

We want to make sure you have fun and relax on the day. Paul will definitely be letting his hair down.......

We will be putting on a bus to help you get to and from the venue if you want. PAUL WILL NOT BE DRIVING IT!!!

More details to follow, but will go from Fernhill through central Queenstown out to the venue, with some stops on Frankton Road, and then out to party central at Lake Hayes Pavilion!

If you choose to stay in beautiful Arrowtown we recommend you book Arrowtown Taxis to get you to and from the venue!

When you RSVP please indicate if you would like transport.

TIME TO CATCH UP

BEFORE THE WEDDING

For those around before the wedding, we are looking to do a low-key Hens / Stag afternoon on Thursday 23rd October. Its an awesome chance to hang out with the guys and gals, and meet those you may not have met already.
More details to follow...

AFTER THE WEDDING

On the Sunday, to help dust out those cobwebs from the night before, we have an area booked at Franks 11th Avenue from 11am.

Fuel yourself with coffee, brekkie or a hair of the dog and pizza!
