We are going to head to Ferment Brewing the evening before the wedding and we invite any of our loved ones to join us for beer, wine, and socializin'! Ferment has a curated food menu and an extensive local beer and wine list as well as non-alcoholic options.
Ours is an informal, non-catered and non-private event, meaning Ferment will be open to us but to the general public as well. This is not a hosted event and our guests will be accommodated as the space allows.
Welcome reception attendance is totally optional, but we are hoping to see as many faces as we can before the big day and share a bite and a drink with our people :)

The main event!
We are pouring so much heart and love into making the day special for not only us, but our favorite people (that's YOU).
After the outdoor ceremony, guests will be transitioned inside the venue for a hosted cocktail hour where appetizers will be served along with full bar service.
Following cocktail hour, we will transition back outdoors for the seated family-style dinner. Drinks are still on us!
All you need to do is bring your lovely selves, and we'll take care of the rest!
Please arrive by 3:30 to ensure that the ceremony can begin on time!
Summer formal or cocktail attire
This event will be held outdoors in a beautiful tree and stone-enveloped, semi-paved space with packed gravel, so make sure you wear shoes that can accommodate. Head to the venue website for more pictures to help you prepare!
We want you to come dressed to impress, but be mindful of the August weather when choosing your styles and fabrics. Think comfortable summer elegance!
Location, location, location!
The Ruins is RIGHT there in downtown Hood River so we will not be providing transportation for our guests. If you are staying nearby it is more than likely your accommodations are a short 3-15 minute walk to the venue, and an even shorter drive.
If you have concerns about getting to and from the venue, please head to the "Transportation" page on our website to explore options for getting around downtown Hood River safely. Options are limited so it is a good idea to plan ahead.
We will follow back up with parking options at or around the venue, so (say it with us) more details to come!
It's a wedding weekend, after all!
If you are still around come Sunday afternoon we will be spending some time alonside the beautiful Columbia River. It will be a time to relax and share stories from the day before, and take a dip in the river on what we anticipate will be a hot August day!
This will be our opportunity to one last time say thank you and goodbye to all of the people who came to celebrate our marriage.
