On our trip to Italy in 2017, we were in Florence when we took a walk up to Piazzale Michelangelo to have a drink and enjoy the sunset. After a long day of walking, adventuring, and eating, we sat down and relaxed amongst travelers from all over the world. As we sat on the steps overlooking the city, a beautiful bride and groom came to the lookout for photos on their wedding night. Unbeknownst to either of us, we were thinking the same thing in that moment—"wouldn't it be great to get married here?" Afraid to scare one another off, we kept those thoughts to ourselves until several months later when we decided that we would like to get married.

After Andrew proposed, we knew right away that our wedding would be in Italy!
