We met in the US, but we call ourselves an international couple - we both love our countries and cultures, and try to honor our roots in our little day-to-day habits. During these past (almost) 4 years, we have been here and there and everywhere: this includes 88 days for Zach in Brazil when the maximum was 90 (the Brazilian immigration officers almost gave him a hard time for overstaying... isn't that ironic?) and 1 year we spent on the road without a fixed address. We love nurturing our adventurous spirits and exploring what is out there!
Nós nos conhecemos nos EUA, mas somos um casal bem internacional - ambos amamos nossos países e nossas culturas, e tentamos honrar nossas raízes nos pequenos hábitos do dia-a-dia. Nesses últimos (quase) 4 anos, fomos para diversos cantos: isso inclui o Zach ficando no Brasil por 88 dias quando o máximo era 90 (e ele quase teve problemas com a imigração brasileira por conta disso... irônico, ne?), e 1 ano em que passamos na estrada sem moradia fixa. Gostamos de nutrir nosso espírito aventureiro e sair por aí explorando o mundo!
Well, another part of our story is that we met in school. It was literally during the first week of the MBA! Zach decided to go after the girl, even though Ana was a bit skeptical this would work out. Three years, two Master degrees and one pandemic later: here they are, in love and ready to get married!
Bom, outra parte da história é que nos conhecemos estudando, literalmente durante a primeira semana de aula do MBA. Zach decidiu correr atrás e tentar o relacionamento, apesar de a Ana estar meio cética de que fosse dar certo. Três anos, dois mestrados e uma pandemia depois: aqui estão eles, apaixonados e se casando!
If you have not figured it out, we love travelling, and the Iguassu Falls was the place in Brazil where Zach wanted to go the most. Ana had never been there, so we went together in Nov '20 - and when we got there, we were completely fascinated by it! We hope you will too.
Se você ainda não percebeu, nós adoramos viajar e as Cataratas do Iguaçu eram o lugar do Brasil que o Zach mais queria visitar. Ana nunca tinha estado lá e decidimos ir juntos em novembro de 2020 - e quando chegamos, ficamos completamente encantados pelo lugar! Esperamos que vocês também se encantem.

Our next chapter is in the Big Apple, and we are so excited! We have already made lots of friends, received part of our families, and we are slowly discovering every corner of the city (while trying to be as safe and healthy as possible, obviously!). In NYC or in Iguassu, we hope to see you soon!
Nosso próximo capítulo é em Nova York, e estamos super animados. Já fizemos muitos amigos, recebemos a visita de parte da nossa família e estamos pouco a pouco descobrindo cada cantinho da cidade (enquanto tentamos estar o mais seguros e saudáveis o tanto quanto possível, obviamente!).
