Maid of Honor
Kristin (aka "KiKi") is the oldest of the Baly girls and is by far the most fashionable (I swear she's never worn the same outfit twice). Kris went to UGA and is a DAWG fan through and through. She currently lives in Buckhead and is killing it as a medical device sales rep.
Kate Robinson
Sister of Bride
Kate (aka "Baby Kate") is the third of the Baly girls. Most importantly, Kate was the first one to get married and give our parents grandchildren. Which, praise the Lord, took the pressure off Kris and me. Kate went to Ole Miss and ended up marrying her high school sweetheart, Mark. They live in Ashford Park and have two beautiful children, Peyton (4 years old) and Brooks (1.5 years old).
Samantha Halpin
Sister of Bride
Sam (aka "Sam Bologna") is the baby of the family. Sam followed in Kris's footsteps and went to UGA where she met her better half, Michael. They have an adorably sweet 3 year old boy, named Hudson (aka "Huddy") and are expecting their second son in May! Sam should be pretty easy to pick out at the wedding as she'll be 7 months pregnant and wearing an all sequins bridesmaid dress :)
Shilpa Arya
Sister of Groom
Shilpa (aka "Pipa") is Nitin's smarter, prettier, and more accomplished baby sister. Despite being 7+ years younger than her brother, Shilpa has been married for 10 years, has 2 beautiful daughters, and earned an MBA from Ga Tech. She will happily remind you that her older brother has accomplished none of those things.
Brian Lu
Best Man & Real Estate Partner
Brian Lu (aka "Lulu") is best known for his algorithm which correctly estimates how much alcohol is needed for any party. As my real estate partner (roommate) for the last 9 years, we often gave each other dating/relationship advice - advice that has successfully kept us unmarried until now. Ever seen the movie Dumb & Dumber?
Drew Morrell
Fellow Gamecock Football Enthusiast
Drew was one of the very first people I met when I got to Ga Tech in September, 1994. He grew up in South Carolina like me, loved Gamecock football like me, but also way smarter than me. Naturally, I forced him to be best friends, and he's been stuck with me ever since. Drew's hobbies include golf, Backstreet Boys karaoke, and calling me an idiot.
Dave Brautigan
Fitness Partner & Birthday Brother
Dave (along with Drew and Brian) was a fraternity brother of mine at Ga Tech and a housemate at our off-campus house, affectionately referred to as "1008." Simply put, Dave is the most creative person I have ever met. And since his birthday is the day before mine, I've been able to leverage that creativity into some amazing birthday parties with Dave (check out his youtube page). We also share a love of female-oriented group fitness classes.
Sarat Ramayya
Fantasy Football Champion, 2016
I met Sarat when I moved back to Atlanta in 2005. He didn't warm up to me all that much until I took him to South Beach for Adult Spring Break in 2007 and introduced him to EDM, Cuban coffee, and Wet Willie's. Over the years we've come to appreciate our common views on work/life balance, Pizza Hut, and fine men's shoes. We still disagree over the college football playoff system and male capri pants.
Sir Charles
Isn't Coming to the Wedding
Charlie (aka Sir Charles) is Amy's puggle (pug/beagle mix) that I have now inherited. I swore up and down I would never live with a dog. And now I live with a dog. I guess that's the power of love. Charlie enjoys marking his territory all over the city, acting tough around smaller/weaker dogs, and fine dining.
